Psalms

Understanding and appreciating what Jesus has done for us and developing a personal relationship with Him.

Psalms 1:1-2 Bless
Psa 1:1-2 web1 Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand on the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers; 2 but his delight is in Yahweh’s law. On his law, he meditates day and night.

The Law is not always refer to the 10 commandments. It also refers to God’s instructions. : law, direction, instruction, the body of prophetic teaching
instruction in the Messianic age

When we meditate on God’s instructions, we are blessed. When we meditate on God’s Word; we are given reverence to God. The Word talks about fearing God but most of the time it can and should be in ” reverence ” instead. Jesus meditated on the Word more than anyone. He didn’t fear God, His Father. He always expressed the love of the Father. As Jesus meditated on the Word, He was able to rightly divide the Word. We have a problem doing that. Jesus was blessed. All that He did as man, was blessed by God. He said that the works He did were the Father working in Him.

Dear Jesus! As we meditate on Your Words, we are blessed. We begin to know, believe, and declare the works of Your hands. You working in us and through us. It’s You that gives us life. It’s You that makes us more than conquerors and all blessings come from You.  We pray that as Your Word goes forth, eyes will see, ears will hear, hearts believe and You will bless them. “The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” ’ Numbers 6:24‭-‬26 nkjv
To God be the glory Amen! Shalom 2 U

Psalm 1:3-4 God’s word prospers
Psa 1:3-4 web He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that produces its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper. 4 The wicked are not so but are like the chaff which the wind drives away.

Meditating on God’s Word. Many read God’s Word and even study God’s Word. These are good to do but it takes ” meditating” on God’s Word that produces a blessing and makes you prosper. When you meditate, it gets down in your heart, not just in your head. When it’s down in your heart, it will come out of your mouth in faith and not return void. ( … For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Matthew 12:34 nkjv So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. Isaiah 55:11 nkjv )

Dear Jesus! You are ” the Tree of Life “. Meditating on Your Words sows good things into our hearts ( souls)that produce good fruit so that we can prosper in all good things. We declare Your Word to the world that it would enter their hearts and they would prosper in all good things. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. In Jesus’s name Amen. II Corinthians 13:14 njkv www.Shalom2u.org

Psalm 1:3 Produce fruit
Psa 1:3 web He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that produces its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper.

God wants to bless us but we have to treat Him as God and not as a sugar daddy. Time spent with God: praise & worship, meditating on His Word, and talking to Him gives Him reverence. God then blesses us and makes us fruitful. We are like trees that bear fruit that God blesses.

Dear Jesus!  You came to this world to bless us, to give us life.  As we declare who You are, and what You have done for us; we become blessed.  You produce in us all the Fruits of the Holy Spirit.  Now Those that believe in You are able to give these fruits to others and declare the Kingdom of God is here. This world needs more of you and Your grace in it.  We pray: The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. In Jesus’s name Amen.  II Corinthians 13:14 NKJV. www.Shalom2u.org

Psalm 2:6-12 Jesus the son & king of all the earth
Psa 2:6-8 EasyEnglish6 He will say, “I myself put my king in Zion. I put him on my holy mountain”. 7 I will tell you what God has decided to do. The LORD said to me, “You are my son. Today I have given you the honor that goes with that name. 8 Ask me for anything! I will give you nations. The whole world can be yours……12 Kiss his son or God will be angry. He may be so angry that you will die. Only the people that come to the LORD are really happy. He will make them safe.

Here we see that God has a son. We come to know and believe that Jesus is the son of God. The Father has declared Him King of Zion and ruler of the world. All that receive the Son will be happy. All that reject the Son will suffer.

Dear Jesus! Because of man’s disobedience, You came to redeem the earth for all mankind. You have made us happy by delivering us from the bondage of satan. You have given us Your name and authority. We bow to You only, for You are the King of kings and Lord of lords. In Jesus’s name, we declare Shalom/Peace on earth goodwill to all amen! www.Shalom2u.org

Psalm 3 The Lord hears our cries
Psa 3:4-8 NHEB4 I cried out to the LORD with my voice, and he answered me from his holy mountain. Selah. 5 I lay down and slept. I awoke, for the LORD sustains me. 6 I am not afraid of ten thousand people who have set themselves against me on every side. 7 Arise, LORD. Save me, my God. For you slap all my enemies in the face. You break the teeth of the wicked. 8 Salvation belongs to the LORD. Your blessing is upon your people. Selah.

Psalm 3 begins with how there are many enemies against the Lord and His people. The enemy always tries to tell us that there is no hope. We must not give in to the devil’s lies. We must not give in to what our flesh tells us. Yes, you will have all the symptoms of sickness but keep declaring God’s word. Fear not! Declare: Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Psalms 103:2‭-‬4 NKJV. I personally declare Psalm 103:1-5 every day.

Dear Jesus! You lived Your life every day doing good and yet you had many enemies. You had complete confidence in the Father. You now ask us to fear not and have faith in You. We now proclaim that You are the Prince of Peace. You take away our fears and bring Shalom/Peace to our body, soul, and spirit. ” Shalom/Peace to all on earth in Jesus’s name. To God be the glory amend!       Shalom 2 U

Psalm 4 Jesus the priceless pearl
Psa 4:1-3 nheb Answer me when I call, God of my righteousness. You set me free in my distress. Be gracious to me and hear my prayer. 2 You sons of man, how long will you shame my honor, love what is worthless, chase after a lie? Selah. 3 But know that the LORD works wonders for his godly one; the LORD will hear when I call to him.

Psalm 4 Even in the Old Testament, one would acknowledge God as their righteous. We too are to acknowledge JESUS as our righteousness. Righteousness is a free gift received by faith in Jesus. When we believe that God is our righteousness, we can call on Him in faith that He will hear. God works wonders for those that believe in Him. There are too many chasing after worthless things. This doesn’t honor God.

Dear Jesus! Thank You for Your righteousness. You are the One that we seek first. You are the pearl of great price. We leave behind all the worthless things and seek You. As Your Word declares: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Matthew 6:33 NKJV. We pray for those that haven’t found You, the pearl of great price. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. In Jesus’s name Amen.

Psalm 5 The Lord blesses us with favor
Psa 5:11-12 nheb  But let all those who take refuge in you rejoice. Let them always shout for joy, because you defend them. And let those who love your name be joyful in you. 12 For you bless the righteous, LORD. You surround him with favor like a shield.

Psalm 5 begins with how God hears one’s voice when one meditates on His words. The wicket doesn’t care what God has to say, so they are missing out on the blessings of the Lord.

Dear Jesus! We do rejoice because we believe in all that You have done for us. We are righteous ” in You “. It’s You that blesses us with favor and shields us from all harm of the enemy. May You continue to bless and give grace to all the earth. “The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” ’ In Jesus’s name Amen! Numbers 6:24‭-‬26 nkjv. Shalom 2 U

Psa 5:11 NHEB But let all those who take refuge in you rejoice.   Let them always shout for joy, because you defend them.    And let those who love your name be joyful in you.

IN THE FLESH, WE ARE SUSCEPTIBLE TO ALL KINDS OF PHYSICAL AND MENTAL AFFECTIONS.        GOD IS GIVING US A PROMISE HERE THAT HE WILL BE OUR REFUGE, OUR HIDING PLACE.

DEAR HEAVENLY FATHER! BECAUSE OF THE SACRIFICE OF JESUS, YOUR BELOVED SON AND THE LOVER OF OUR SOUL.       WE TAKE REFUGE IN YOU, EL SHADDAI , OUR ABBA, OUR DADDY. WE SHOUT FOR JOY AND PRAISE YOUR NAME.     FOR THE ALMIGHTY ONE HAS DONE GREAT THINGS FOR ME.       PRAISE BE TO GOD AMEN! SHALOM2U

Psalm 6 The Lord raises the humble.
Psa 6:1-4 nheb LORD, do not rebuke me in your anger, neither disciplines me in your wrath. 2 Be gracious to me, LORD, for I am frail. LORD, heal me, for my bones are trembling. 3 And my soul is greatly troubled. But you, LORD, how long? 4 Return, LORD. Deliver my soul. Save me because of your loving kindness.

God’s Word tells us that even though the righteous may fall seven times, he will rise again.   There are times when we might take God’s grace for granted.  When we do, we will fall.  We will not live righteously but sin. Our spirit man is still righteous but the flesh has fallen.  This is when we need to humble ourselves and ask Jesus for His forgiveness.

Dear Jesus!  You always prove Your love.  You always forgive us when we humble ourselves and ask for Your forgiveness.  You  pick us up again when we fall so that we can again walk in the path of righteousness.   You are glorified when Your disciples walk after You.  It’s Your Amazing Grace working in us.   We intercede now for those that have fallen.  We pray that You will pick them up again. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. In Jesus’s name Amen.  II Corinthians 13:14 nkjv

Psalm 7 God is our refuge
Psa 7:1-5 nheb LORD, my God, I take refuge in you. Save me from all those who pursue me, and deliver me, 2 lest they tear apart my soul like a lion, ripping it in pieces, while there is none to deliver. 3 LORD, my God, if I have done this, if there is iniquity in my hands, 4 if I have rewarded evil to him who was at peace with me, or oppressed my enemy without cause, 5 let the enemy pursue my soul, and overtake it; yes, let him tread my life down to the earth, and lay my glory in the dust. Selah.

There are many in this world that think that they don’t need God.  They are proud.  The humble know that they need God.  There are just too many things that can come against us.  It’s important to not take God’s protection and blessings for granted.  Declare every day that the Lord is my rock and fortress and give Him praise and thanksgiving for it.

Dear Jesus!  Again You show us the way to trust in the Father and treat everyone with love and respect.  You had complete confidence that the Father would watch over You.  We declare that You are our rock and fortress.  We trust in You to protect us from all things that the enemy of darkness tries to put on us.  We pray for the proud, that they would see that You are the rock of salvation and put their trust in You, Jesus the savior of the world.  The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you in Jesus’s name amen. Psalm 8: Our majestic and loving God
Psa 8:1-4 nheb LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth. You have put your glory upon the heavens. 2 From the lips of children and infants you have established praise, because of your adversaries, that you might silence the enemy and the avenger. 3 When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars which you have set in place; 4 what is man, that you think of him, and the son of man that you care for him?

The first part of Psalm 8 tells us how majestic our God is.  Most of mankind doesn’t see God in His wonderful creation.  All the beauty that is in the world and His most astonishing creation of mankind.  The world takes all of His creation for granted and gives credit to mother earth or mother nature.  To make things worst, they blame God for all the bad things that happen to them.

Dear Jesus!  We know and believe that You are marvelous, Divine, and the pinnacle of love.  We do appreciate Your creation but it is nothing compared to You.  Psalm 8 goes on and states, what is the man that You are mindful of him?  You have made us in Your image and likeness and given us authority over all the earth.  When we failed to appreciate all that you had giving us, we lost it all.  But You never stopped loving us and keep calling us back into Your Kingdom and into Your presence.  Thank You Jesus for being mindful of us and so loving.  We pray that all would receive Your love. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’ name Amen. 2 Corinthians, 13:14       Shalom 2 U

Psalm 9:1-4 Victory in Jesus
Psa 9:1-4 nheb I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart. I will tell of all your marvelous works. 2 I will be glad and rejoice in you. I will sing praise to your name, O Most High. 3 When my enemies turn back, they stumble and perish in your presence. 4 For you have upheld my just cause. You sit on the throne judging righteously.

We see here that when one really believes in God; their hearts are full of praise and thanksgiving.  The  Gospel tells us that we are overcomers.  We are the head and not the tail, above and not beneath.

Dear Jesus!  You have defeated the devil.  You are the King of kings and Lord of lords.  When we declare what You have done, we cannot be defeated.  You are our Savior, Redeemer, Healer, Shalom/Peace.  In You, we have the victory.   We pray for those who are being defeated in life.   May they receive Your Amazing Grace and receive You as their Savior.  The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. In Jesus’ name Amen.II Corinthians 13:14 nkjv  Shalom 2 U

Psalms 9:5-10 God’s Word shall not return void!
Psa 9:5-10 web You have rebuked the nations. You have destroyed the wicked. You have blotted out their name forever and ever. 6 The enemy is overtaken by endless ruin. The very memory of the cities which you have overthrown has perished. 7 But Yahweh reigns forever. He has prepared his throne for judgment. 8 He will judge the world in righteousness. He will administer judgment to the peoples in uprightness. 9 Yahweh will also be a high tower for the oppressed; a high tower in times of trouble. 10 Those who know your name will put their trust in you, for you, Yahweh, have not forsaken those who seek you.

God is proclaiming here things that haven’t happened yet. God always declares things before they appear. This is what He wants us to do; know, believe, and declare His Word before it comes to pass.

Dear Jesus! Your birth was declared thousands of years before Your birth. You have declared that it would not return void. You have spoken to many of your followers and prophets about what You are about to do on the earth very soon. We have been declaring Your Word. We have been declaring You as the Savior of the world, the light of the world, the Prince of Shalom/Peace. Now is the time for Your Word to come to pass. What a glorious time we are living in! And so we proclaim ” Light Be, Shalom/Peace on earth goodwill to all. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’ name Amen. II Corinthians 13:14 nkjv

Psalm 10 Why? Where?
Psa 10:1-4 KJV1 Why standest thou afar off, O LORD? Why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble? 2 The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined. 3 For the wicked boasteth of his heart’s desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth. 4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.

Psalm 10 begins with the 64-million-dollar question. Where is God? There is so much evil in the world. Where is God? The wicket, the proud, has no fear of God and rejects that He is. Then there are many that don’t know God or barely know about Him. In the Book of Hosea, God says My people perish for lack of knowledge. They had the Word but because they failed to meditate on it; they failed to see God and trust in Him. They didn’t get it down in their hearts. This is what is happening in the world today.

Dear Jesus! Because of Your Amazing Grace, You have opened up our hearts and minds to see and believe Who You really are and all that You have done for us. You have raised up an army that is coming against the kingdom of darkness. Your light is shining brighter and brighter. We shall continue to declare Your name and see you defeat the enemy. “The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” ’ “Peace on earth, goodwill to all. Light Be in Jesus’s name Amen!”       Shalom 2 U

Psalm 11 Jesus: Our Foundation
Psa 11:3-5 kjv If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? 4 The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD’S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men. 5 The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

Psalm 11 speaks to us about the righteous and the unrighteous. Our faith is tested to see if we truly believe. When the foundation of our faith is built on the Rock, our lord Jesus; our righteousness will stand the test.

Dear Jesus! We declare that You are our righteousness. It’s You that took our sins away. You, who knew no sin became sin for us so that we could become righteous. It’s all You’re doing by Your Amazing Grace. There are many that need Your righteousness, we pray that they will come to You. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. In Jesus’s name Amen. II Corinthians 13:14 nkjv    Shalom 2 U

Psalm 12 God hears the humble
Psa 12:2-4 kjv They speak vanity every one with his neighbor: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak. 3 The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things: 4 Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?

Psalm 12 tells us how God dislikes the proud and the double-hearted, and because of these things, they will fail.

Dear Jesus! We humbly come to You. We are nothing on our own. You are everything that we need. In You is the fullness of life. By Your Grace, we receive all that we need in life. By faith in You, we receive righteousness, love, peace, joy and so much more. We pray for those that are seeking the fullness of life, in the wrong places. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’ name Amen. II Corinthians 13:14 nkjv   Shalom 2 U

Psalm 13: Jesus our Savior
Psa 13:2-4 kjv How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me? 3 Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death; 4 Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.

Psalm 13: David is having a bad time. He is being pursued by his enemies and God is not present. We too wonder where God is when we are facing trials. We aren’t perfect and sometimes far from being perfect. God doesn’t expect us to be perfect. He does expect us to be faithful. Faithfulness to God is spending time with Him. Treating God like He is the first place in our hearts.

Dear Jesus! We thank You for being our substitute. You who knew no sin,  began sin for us so that we can be righteous in You. As we abide in You, we will continue to bear the fruit of righteousness. We can now wait in faith for You are always faithful to come and save us. We pray for those that don’t really know You because of the enemy’s lies. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’ name Amen. II Corinthians 13:14 nkjv  Shalom 2 U

Psalm 14: Jesus brings Salvation
Psa 14:1 nheb The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt. They do abominable works. There is none who does good…….Psa 14:6-7 nheb You would frustrate the plans of the lowly, but the LORD is his refuge. 7 Oh that the salvation of Israel would come out of Zion. When the LORD restores the fortunes of his people, may Jacob rejoice, may Israel be glad.

Psalm 14: It tells us that God calls those that don’t believe in Him a fool. There seem to be many foolish people on the earth. They do a lot of destruction upon the earth. We see this all over the world and most blame God for it or declare where is God. God is going to have the last word. We are living in the greatest time of our lives. We are about to see and some are already seeing God destroying the works of the devil. He is bringing salvation throughout the world.

Dear Jesus! Many saw Your great works but still refused to believe in You. For a long time Your salvation, redemption, and grace have been hidden from most of mankind. I believe that the time is now that Your great works will be seen by all. They will no longer have any excuses. We declare Jesus, that You are the Prince of Peace, the light of the world, and we are saved by Your Amazing Grace. ” Light Be, Shalom/Peace on earth, The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’s name Amen. II Corinthians 13:14 nkjv    Shalom 2 U

Psalm 15 Jesus our righteousness
Psa 15:1-3 nheb LORD, who shall dwell in your sanctuary? Who shall live on your holy mountain? 2 He who walks blamelessly and does what is right, and speaks truth in his heart. 3 He doesn’t slander with his tongue, nor does evil to his friend, nor lifts up an insult against his neighbor.

Psalm 15 asked a very important question. Who shall dwell in God’s sanctuary? We are told that only the righteous. Many try to be righteous but fall short of God’s requirements. The Bible tells us that there is none righteous, no not one.

Dear Jesus! Under the Law, no one could be declared righteous. You came to redeem us from the curse of the Law. Your standards for righteousness is too high for anyone to achieve but Your love and mercy are even greater. You took our sins and gave us Your righteousness. All You ask us is to believe in you so that You can work in us. ( In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. I John 4:9 nkjv ) You came to give us life. We pray for those that haven’t received You and Your gift of righteousness. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’s name Amen.II Corinthians 13:14 nkjv    Shalom2u

Psalm 16 In Jesus we have eternal life
Psa 16:1-2 nheb Preserve me, God, for in you do I take refuge. 2 I said to the LORD, “You are my Lord. Apart from you, I have no good thing.”

Psa 16:7-11 nheb I will bless the LORD, who has given me counsel. Yes, my heart instructs me in the night seasons. 8 I have set the LORD always before me; because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. 9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my tongue rejoices. My body shall also dwell in safety. 10 For you will not abandon my soul in Sheol, neither will you allow your Holy One to see decay. 11 You make known to me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand, there are pleasures forevermore.

I believe that this is a Messianic Psalm. It begins with how Jesus as the Son of man related to the Father. He relied on the Father for His protection and even His righteousness. Verse 10 states how His body will not decay.

Dear Jesus! As You trusted in the Father for everything, we can do likewise. It’s no longer we that live it but You living through us. We gladly and joyfully accept Your invitation to dwell in us and be our Lord and Saviour. You give us eternal life. Our bodies will be changed into incorruptible bodies and be with You forever. We pray for those that haven’t received you yet. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’s name Amen. Psalm 17 The Word of God is true.
Psa 17:1-4 web Hear, Yahweh, my righteous plea. Give ear to my prayer that doesn’t go out of deceitful lips. 2 Let my sentence come out of your presence. Let your eyes look on equity. 3 You have proved my heart. You have visited me in the night. You have tried me and found nothing. I have resolved that my mouth shall not disobey. 4 As for the deeds of men, by the word of your lips, I have kept myself from the ways of the violent.

Psalm 17 deals again with the righteous and the unrighteous. The Psalmist asks God to hear his” righteous ” plea. It doesn’t go out of deceitful lips. When our prayers go out to God, they should be in agreement with the Word of God. It must go out not because we see it in the flesh. Most of the time we must declare it before we see it in the flesh. It would be a lie if it wasn’t the word of God. We speak it out of our heart because it’s what God says we are ” in Christ Jesus. Our words are tested, but if we don’t become double-minded, it will come to pass.

Dear Jesus! Your whole ministry was based on what the Word of God said about You and what it said that You could do. Now You ask us to follow You. You gave us the free gift of righteousness and so we declare that we are righteous in You. You gave us Your name, authority, and word to defeat the enemy and save the lost. We now pray Light Be, Shalom/Peace on earth, and goodwill to all. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’ name Amen. II Corinthians 13:14 nkjv Shalom 2 u

Psalm 18 Praise Jesus who saves
Psa 18:1-3 web I love you, Yahweh, my strength. 2 Yahweh is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower. 3 I call on Yahweh, who is worthy to be praised; and I am saved from my enemies.

Psalm 18: It reveals how one can go through life and be victorious. The Psalmist declares His love for God and who God is to Him: rock, deliverer, tower, shield, salvation. Praising God for who He is. Unfortunately, we declared our problems and ask for help more than given God worship, praise, and Thanksgiving. The more we treat God as God and not someone to go to when we have a problem. When we have a problem, declare who God is over the problem.

Dear Jesus! Your Word tells us that: Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all. Psalms 34:19 nkjv You are everything to us, the Great ” I AM “. Your great name tells us what You do: Jesus – Jehovah Saves. When there is darkness in our lives, we look to You, the Light of the world. We call out ” Light Be” in Jesus’ name. Your Word tells us that Grace and Peace would increase in us as our knowledge of You increases. We pray that the blind see, deaf hear, and hearts receive the Good News of Your Amazing Grace, in Jesus’s name amen! www.Shalom2u.org

Psalm 19 God: Creator of heaven & earth
Psalm 19:1-3 kjv To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament sheweth his handywork. 2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. 3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. Psa 19:14 kjv Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

When we observe God’s creation, we are in awe of it all. Especially the creation of mankind, there are so many amazing things about our bodies. Yet there are many that fail to acknowledge God and all His wonderful deeds. They glorify themselves or mother nature instead of God. Then they wonder where is God.

Dear Jesus! There are so many ways to see that there is a God. As the Psalm says, creation declares the Glory of God. Still, that wasn’t good enough for mankind to see. You had to come and reveal God’s great love for mankind. It took Your sacrifice and Amazing Grace to open up our eyes and see. When we meditate and believe all that You have done for us, our hearts are acceptable in Your sight. We are blessed. We pray for others that they would receive Your grace to believe. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen. II Corinthians 13:14 nkjv Shalom2u

Psalm 20: Call Upon The Lord
Psa 20:1-4 NHEB1 May the LORD answer you in the day of trouble. May the name of the God of Jacob set you up on high. 2 He will send you help from the sanctuary, and give you support from Zion. 3 He will remember all your offerings, and accept your burnt sacrifice. Selah. 4 He will grant you your heart’s desire, and fulfill all your plans.

It’s not that we won’t have trouble but in the time of trouble, we go to our heavenly Father. We express and declare His word to Him. Many are the troubles of the righteous but our God ( you Father) shall deliver us from them all.

We all need help and it’s receiving it from Jesus that makes us be more than conquerors. It’s all about receiving God’s Grace by Faith in what Jesus has done for us. In the old testament, it was their offerings. In the New Testament, it’s all about Jesus offerings. All we do is give praise and Thanksgiving for all that Jesus has done.

Dear Jesus! We thank You Lord for being our Rock and Refuge. You are the One that we come to when the enemy comes against us. By Your sacrifice, You have defeated the enemy. We declare Your Word to defeat the enemy and Your Angeles harkens to the voice of Your word. Bless the Lord, you His angels, Who excel in strength, who do His word, Heeding the voice of His word.

Psalms 103:20 nkjv We again come against the darkness in the world and declare ” Light Be “. We pray for all to receive Your Shalom/Peace. “The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” ’Numbers 6:24‭-‬26 NKJV In Jesus name Amen! Psalm 21: Jesus worthy of all praise
Psa 21:1-4 nheb The king rejoices in your strength, LORD. How greatly he rejoices in your salvation. 2 You have given him his heart’s desire, and have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah. 3 For you meet him with the blessings of goodness. You set a crown of fine gold on his head. 4 He asked life of you, you gave it to him, even length of days forever and ever.

Psalm 21 is one of many Psalms written by King David. Although King David failed at times as we all do. Nonetheless, in spite of some grievous sins, David was a man after God’s own heart. (  ‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.’ Acts 13:22 nkjv )    We see it time after time how David praised and worshiped the Lord. This is the secret of experiencing God’s presence in our lives. Psalms 100:4 nkjv Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

Dear Jesus! We praise and worship You, for You are worthy of all praise. You are full of wisdom, power, love, and mercy. You are the King of kings and Lord of lords. You use all that You are, not to condemn us but to save us. What a merciful God You are! Thank You Jesus for Your mercy on us. We pray that Your mercy will fall on the lost and be saved. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’s name Amen. II Corinthians 13:14 NKJV

PSALM 22 JESUS OUR REDEEMER
Psa 22:1 NHEB My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from helping me, and from the words of my groaning?

Psa 22:7-8 NHEB 7 All those who see me mock me. They insult me with their lips. They shake their heads, saying, 8 “He trusts in the LORD; let him deliver him. Let him rescue him since he delights in him.”

Psa 22:16-18 NHEB 16 For many dogs have surrounded me. A company of evildoers has enclosed me. They have pierced my hands and my feet. 17 I can count all of my bones. They look and stare at me. 18 They divide my clothes among themselves, and for my clothing, they cast a lot.

Psa 22:27-28 NHEB 27 Every part of the earth shall remember and turn to the LORD, and all the families of the nations shall worship before you. 28 For the kingdom is the LORD’s, and he is the ruler over the nations.

Psalm 22 is a Messianic psalm that prophecies the sacrificial death of Jesus. It reveals many of the things that Jesus would suffer. I believe that verse one was the hardest thing that Jesus had to suffer. It wasn’t anything physical, although He suffered extreme torture. No, the most suffering that Jesus suffered was when Father God, Abba had to leave Jesus presents. Jesus and the Father were One. They had always been together since the beginning. To not having the presence of His Father was the only thing that made Jesus cry out. Why did the Father have to leave Jesus’ presence? God is a holy God. No one who is unholy can be in God’s presence. Jesus took our sins and became unholy so that we could become righteous by faith in Him. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. II Corinthians 5:21 NKJV

Dear Jesus! We thank You for loving us so much. By Your sacrifice, You proved that You love us. Because of Your sacrifice, we can receive Your righteousness through Your Amazing Grace by having faith in You. ( Romans 3:24 & 5:1, 17 ) Now we can come into God’s presence. This was the Father’s will for us and You came to redeem us. We pray that many more will receive Your Amazing Grace and become redeemed. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen. II Corinthians 13:14 NKJV   Shalom2u

PSALM 23: OUR GOOD LORD
Psalm 23:1-3  The LORD is my shepherd; I lack nothing. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. 3 He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

Psalm 23 Starts out with ” The Lord”. Most of my life I didn’t like the word “Lord”. It always had a negative and fearful meaning to it. The Lord was to be feared if you did something wrong. He would”Lord over you” if you were under his control. None of this is true about our Lord Jesus. Psalm 23 brings out all the good things that He does for us. Only Jesus can do these things because He is Lord of lords. No one can stop Him except our own unbelief. That’s why we must put our faith in Him – Christian Faith.

Dear Jesus! We proclaim that You are our Good Shepherd. In You, we have no lack. You led us not to slave us, to demand work from us. No, You led us to green pastures where we can eat and rest. If we don’t follow the right path, You don’t whip us but bring us back to righteousness by Your Amazing Grace. When we face fearful events in our lives, It’s Your rod, Your Word that protects us and brings us peace. Our enemies see how well You feed us and anoint us so that we can be strong in You. Only goodness and mercy follow us all the days of our lives. We pray for those that haven’t received You as their Good Shepherd. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’ name Amen.  II Corinthians 13:14 NKJV       Shalom2u

PSALM 24 THE FULLNESS OF THE EARTH IS THE LORD’S
Psa 24:1-5 nheb The earth is the LORD’s, and its fullness; the world, and those who dwell in it. 2 For he has founded it on the seas, and established it on the floods. 3 Who may ascend to the LORD’s hill? Who may stand in his holy place? 4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood, and has not sworn deceitfully. 5 He shall receive a blessing from the LORD, righteousness from the God of his salvation.

Those that believe in God, believes that everything belongs to God. As the Psalm declares, the world is the Lord’s. God gave mankind all authority over the earth. Mankind has free will until Jesus comes back again. Jesus has given all believers authority but we haven’t been using it. The devil gets his power from all that are not fully using and believing in God’s Word. For example, many older people are “fearful” of losing their memory. Fear opens the door for him to cause you harm. God’s word tells us: The memory of the righteous is blessed, But the name of the wicked will rot. Proverbs 10:7 NKJV   We need to know, believe, and declare that we are righteous by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

Dear Jesus! There is no pride, envy, jealousy, or greed in You. Everything is Yours and yet You want to share it with all who believe in You. and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. Romans 8:17 NKJV May we never take for granted all that You have done for us and all we receive when we believe. We declare our righteousness in You and all the blessings. We pray that Your grace and blessings will go out to all mankind. “The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” ’ In Jesus’s name Amen!  Numbers 6:24‭-‬26 NKJV   Shalom 2u

Psa 103:19 The LORD has established his throne in the heavens. His kingdom rules over all.

PSALM 25 GOD GIVES GRACE TO THE HUMBLE

Psa 25:1-2 KJV A Psalm of David. Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul. 2 O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.

King David was one that didn’t rely on his own abilities and strength. He had complete confidence in God to save him. I don’t see many believers having trust in God to save them. There are too many trying on their own. They’re doing the best that they can but that’s not good enough.

Psa 25:4-5 KJV 4 Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths. 5 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

Psa 25:9 KJV The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.

Psa 25:12 KJV What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.

Now the Psalmist is seeking the Lord to teach him. We all need to ask the Lord to teach us. He does it when we are humble and come to Him. It’s not about fearing God but having “reverence” for God. We reverence God when we spend time with Him and meditate on His Word.

Dear Jesus! We humbly come to You. We know that we can not save ourselves. Only by Your blood, Your sacrifice can we be declared righteous. We are saved by faith in You and by grace receive Your gift of righteousness. We pray for those that still need Your Amazing Grace. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’s name Amen.  II Corinthians 13:14 NKJV

PSALM 26 JESUS OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS
Psa 26:1-3  Vindicate me, LORD, because I have walked in integrity; I have trusted in the LORD without wavering. 2 Examine me, LORD, and inspect me! Test my heart and mind. 3 For your gracious love precedes me, and I continuously walk according to your truth.

In this Psalm, the Psalmist is proclaiming his goodness, his integrity, and how he walks in the truth. It seems that the Psalmist is Jesus since only He can say these things. Can we claim to be righteous like Jesus? The answer is yes. We actually can, because righteousness is a free gift of grace received by faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus came not to give us the Law but Grace and truth. For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. John .1.17.NKJV When we believe in Jesus, we should declare our righteousness “in Him”. Then the Holy Spirit can give life to the Word and cause us to live righteously. Now Christ is living inside us doing the work of keeping the Law and so much more.

Dear Jesus! You came to save us, redeem us, give us life, and set us free. Thank You for living in us and working through us to live righteously. (for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring.’ Acts 17:28 nkjv) We pray for those that need Your righteousness. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all Amen. II Corinthians 13:14 NKJV

PSALM 27 DWELL IN JESUS
Psalm 27:1-2  nheb The LORD is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid? 2 When evildoers came at me to eat up my flesh, even my adversaries and my foes, they stumbled and fell.

When we are totally in faith with God, we will not fear. Fear is the opposite of faith. We only receive from God through Faith.

Psalm 27:4 nheb One thing I have asked of the LORD, that I will seek after, that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to see the LORD’s beauty, and to inquire in his temple.

Today we see a lot of people living in the same house but are they really dwelling together? To see the Lord’s beauty, we must get close to Him.

Psa 27:11 nheb Teach me your way, LORD. Lead me in a straight path, because of my enemies. Psa 27:13-14 nheb I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. 14 Wait for the LORD. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for the LORD.

Dear Jesus! You have made the way for us to dwell with You. You invite all to come to You and receive Your Light and salvation. Dwelling in You is where we are safe from our enemies. You teach us Your ways that give us the confidence to wait and see Your glory. We pray for all to dwell in Your presence and into Your Glorious Light. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’s name Amen.   II Corinthians 13:14 NKJV www.Shalom2u.org

PSALM 28 THE LORD HEARS OUR PRAYERS
Psa 28:5-7 NHEB5 Because they do not regard the works of the LORD, nor the operation of his hands, he will break them down and not build them up. 6 Blessed be the LORD, because he has heard the voice of my petitions. 7 The LORD is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song, I will thank him.

David is first pleading with God to hear his prayer. He knows that God doesn’t hear the prayers of the wicket unless they repent.

Dear Jesus! We know that the prayer of the righteous avail much. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. James 5:16 NKJV If it wasn’t for your free gift of righteousness, we could never be sure that You heard our prayers. Like David, we declare, Bless the Lord for You have heard our prayers. We pray that Your Kingdom come, and Your will be done. May all receive Your Amazing Grace, repent and call on Your name. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’s name Amen. II Corinthians 13:14 NKJV    Shalom2u

PSALM 29 VOICE OF THE LORD
Psa 29:1-4 KJV1 A Psalm of David. Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength. 2 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. 3 The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters. 4 The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.

Psalm 29 begins by telling us to give glory and praise to God. Most Christian fall short in given God the praise and worship that He deserves. It reminds me of a song that we used to sing during the great revival of the 70’s. A time when the Church was on “fire” for God. I have decided to follow Jesus and many more. God is once again raising up a mighty army of praise warriors which is bringing in Shalom/Peace and Justice on the earth. The Psalm goes on and states that the voice of the Lord is powerful and majestic.

Dear Jesus! As the Son of Man, You used the authority and power that was given to mankind at the beginning of creation. You always gave praise and honor to the Father. Because of Your sacrifice, You have redeemed us and You are worthy of all praise. As we go about defeating the kingdom of darkness, we will give You praise and declare Your word (voice). We now declare that Jesus is the King of the world and the Light of the world. In Jesus’ name, we come against the darkness and declare”Light Be”.    The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.   II Corinthians 13:14 NKJV Shalom 2U
P.S. I heard on the news last night that there is a Revival going on at a University in Kentucky. Our prayers are being heard and the power of darkness is being defeated. Revival is here. GLORY BE TO GOD!

PSALM 30 JEHOVAH RAPHAH: GOD OUR HEALER
Psa 30:1-4 WEB1 I will extol you, Yahweh, for you have raised me up, and have not made my foes to rejoice over me. 2 Yahweh my God, I cried to you, and you have healed me. 3 Yahweh, you have brought up my soul from Sheol. You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. 4 Sing praise to Yahweh, you saints of his. Give thanks to his holy name.

This could be another Messianic Psalm when Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised up again. It’s important to note that the Psalmist gives praise to God. The LORD God does a physical healing. The word for “heal” is Raphah which is why one of the titles for God is Jehovah Raphah.

Dear Jesus! The Psalm goes on to say that God was angry for a while. This was when You took our sins to save us. We shall praise You forever and ever. There is no end to Your loving kindness and Amazing Grace. We pray that the Good News of Your grace will go throughout the world and receive Your righteousness by faith in You. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’ name Amen. II Corinthians 13:14 NKJV

PSALM 31 GOD GETS US THROUGH
Psa 31:1-5 WEB1 In you, Yahweh, I take refuge. Let me never be disappointed. Deliver me in your righteousness. 2 Bow down your ear to me. Deliver me speedily. Be to me a strong rock, a house of defense to save me. 3 For you are my rock and my fortress, therefore for your name’s sake lead me and guide me. 4 Pluck me out of the net that they have laid secretly for me, for you are my stronghold. 5 Into your hand I commend my spirit. You redeem me, Yahweh, God of truth.

Psalm 31 is another Messianic Psalm. We see in verse 5, the words that Jesus spoke on the cross. Luke 23:46 NKJV And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, “Father, ‘into Your hands I commit My spirit.’ ” Having said this, He breathed His last.  This Psalm like the others declares how God is our rock, refuge, deliver, and savior.

Dear Jesus! Again You have shown us the way to trust in the Father. No matter how big the trial, You knew in the end that all would be well with thy soul. Your love and sacrifice give us the confidence to go through our trials. We know that in the end, it will be well with our souls. Many are going through trials now and they need Your Grace to get them through them. We pray: The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’ name Amen. II Corinthians 13:14 NKJV

PSALM 32 JESUS OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS
Psalm 32:1-5 NHEB1 Happy are those whose transgressions are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. 2 Happy is the one to whom the LORD does not charge with sin, and in whose spirit there is no deceit. 3 When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. 4 For day and night your hand was heavy upon me to my destruction in the heat of summer. Selah. 5 I acknowledged my sin to you. I did not hide my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD,” and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

Glory be to God. Glory be to God. Glory be to God!

Dear Jesus! We thank You and praise You for all that You have done for us. In the Old Covenant, a lamb would be sacrificed in Your place and their sins would be covered.  Under the New Covenant, Your sacrifice did way much more. I always knew that when I confessed my sins, You always forgave me. I was glad that You did, but I needed so much more. I needed to stop sinning and live more like You. I told You that I needed Your help to stop sinning and then You revealed Your Amazing Grace to me. You revealed how I am righteous in You by Grace through Faith. I haven’t stopped declaring my righteousness in You and You haven’t stopped living through me making me live more like You. The world needs Your Amazing Grace and so we pray: The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’ name Amen. PSALM 33 JESUS: WE STAND IN AWE OF YOU
Psa 33:6-9 NHEB 6 By the word of the LORD the heavens were made; and all their host by the breath of his mouth. 7 He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap. He lays up the deeps in storehouses. 8 Let all the earth fear the LORD. Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. 9 For he spoke, and it was done. He commanded, and it stood firm.

Psalm 33 Begins with giving praise to the Lord, His righteous ones. The Lord giving us His gift of righteousness should make us praise Him daily. Then it goes into how awesome is the word of the Lord. It confirms the creation story of how God called things into being. It talks about fearing the Lord but I believe that we should show Him reverence because He is an awesome God.

Psalm 33:12 NHEB Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance. The Lord wants to bless our nation but too many ignore Him and His ways. In 1970 there were 80% of Americans that called themselves Christians. Today it’s only about 60% and a lot of them only give lip service to God.

Dear Jesus! You are glorious, amazing, and full of love and light. All the great things in life that we are blessed with, come from You. Yet in spite of all that You are, we still need Your grace to acknowledge You and all the things that You do for us. Thank You for opening our eyes to see. We give You all the honor, praise, and glory. We pray that many more would receive Your Grace and be able to see. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’ name Amen. II Corinthians 13:14 NKJV  www.Shalom2u.org

PSALM 34 THE LORD HEARS AND DELIVERS
Psalm 34:1-4  Psalm of David, when he changed his behavior before Abimelech; who drove him away, and he departed. I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. 2 My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. 3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. 4 I sought the LORD, and he heard me and delivered me from all my fears.

Psalm 34 is a great psalm to know. We all go through times when something can be fearful. This Psalm can help you go through those times. The first thing is praise and worship. We can not enter God’s presence without it. We seek the Lord not by complaining about our problems but by declaring that He is our deliverer. Note: v4 fears: here the word fear, really means fear.

Psalm 34:6 KJV This poor( humble) man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. V7  The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

Here the word fear should be reverence. You don’t get saved because You fear God but because you give Him the praise and worship that He deserves and you put your faith in Him.

Psalm 34:11-15 KJV11 Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear(reverence) of the LORD. 12 What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good? 13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. 14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. 15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.

We show reverence to the Lord by declaring what He has done for us, even before we see it done in the natural. This is faith which pleases God. V13 tells us to keep our tongues from speaking evil. When we keep declaring the problem instead of God’s Word, we are speaking evil. Remember the spies that came  back, and spoke of an evil report? Joshua and Caleb spoke a good report. They spoke about what they can do because God would go with them.

Dear Jesus! Your Word declares Psalm 34:17 KJVThe righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. We have been declared righteous by faith in You. We have confidence that You hear our prayers and You deliver us from all our troubles. There are many going through trials now. We pray for the grace for them to receive Your gift of righteousness and believe in You, the Savior of the world. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus name Amen.   II Corinthians 13:14 NKJV

PSALM 35 GOD DEFEATS OUR ENEMIES
Psa 35:26-28 WEB Let them be disappointed and confounded together who rejoice at my calamity. Let them be clothed with shame and dishonor who magnify themselves against me. 27 Let those who favor my righteous cause shout for joy and be glad. Yes, let them say continually, “May Yahweh be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of his servant!” 28 My tongue shall talk about your righteousness and about your praise all day long.

David is going through a lot of trouble. He has a lot of enemies that want to harm him. David knew where to go for help. He pleads with God to fight for him; to turn his enemies back. Let the Angels pursue them and turn them. Let them fall into their own trap.

Dear Jesus! In life, we face many adversaries that come against us. The devil attacks us in various ways. You have equipped us with Your armor to protect us and a sword to slay them in the spirit. Although the attackers may have a human form; we come against the evil spirit that is behind it all. We praise You for the victory that You have won for us. We pray for those that are causing harm, that they would be set free and come into Your righteous Kingdom. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’s name Amen. II Corinthians 13:14 NKJV

PSALM 36 THE WICKET NEEDS TO HEAR THE GOOD NEWS
Psa 36:1-4 KJV1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David the servant of the LORD. The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes. 2 For he flattereth himself in his own eyes until his iniquity be found to be hateful. 3 The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good. 4 He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil.

Psalm 36 Begins by telling us about the wicket. There is no fear of God. Here when I check on the meaning of ” fear”, it’s all about being afraid of God. When the word fear is used about the righteous, it can and should be interpreted as “reverence”. God doesn’t help the wicket but I think the devil does. Of course, in the end, the wicked will suffer unless one repents. Jesus lived in the world when, like today, there were many wicket people. He went above proclaiming the Good News of the Kingdom of God.

Dear Jesus! Because of Your sacrifice and the grace to receive the Good News, we are blessed. There is a lot of Good News that You have for all mankind. For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. II Corinthians 1:20 NKJV There are so many promises for us to know, believe, and declare so that we can go from glory to glory in You. We pray that You send out more anointed ministers to declare Your Good News. We pray for Your blessing on all to receive. “The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” ’ in Jesus’s name Amen! Numbers 6:24‭-‬26 NKJV

PSALM 37 1-4 TRUST & DELIGHT IN THE LORD
Psalm 37:1-4  Psalm of David. Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. 2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. 3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. 4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Psalm 37 is full of some of God’s good and precious promises that we need to know, believe, and declare to be victorious in our lives. It begins with telling us not to be envious of evil doers. We should pray for them. It tells us to trust and delight in the Lord and He shall give us what our heart desires.

Dear Jesus! We praise You and honor You for all that You are and all that You have done for us. We delight in Your Amazing Grace, Love, Mercy, forgiveness, and setting us free. Our heart’s desire is to see Your Kingdom come here on earth, as it is in heaven. So now we declare ” Light Be” in Jesus’ name. We pray for Your Grace for all the lost. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus name Amen. II Corinthians 13:14 NKJV. www.Shalom2u.org

PSALM 37:5-7 TRUST, REST, & WAIT
Psalm 37:5-7 KJV5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. 6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. 7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

Commit, trust, rest, and wait are four things that we are challenged to do as we abide in the Lord. Whatever our situation is, it takes these things to see us go through the trials. Everyone of us is called to fight the good fight of faith. It takes these four things and a few more to win like not being double minded.

Dear Jesus! When we meditate on who You are and what You have done for us, it should be easy to trust You, wait on You, and enter Your rest. It seems that we are a work in progress. With You nothing is impossible and so we pray that You will continue to work through us as we go through our trials. We pray for the lost for the grace to come to You and enter Your rest. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus Name Amen. II Corinthians 13:14 NKJV

Pro 3:5-6 KJV 5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths

Hebrews 4:10 NKJV For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.

PSALM 37:23-26 JESUS DIRECTS OUR STEPS
Psalm 37:23-26 KJV23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. 24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand. 25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. 26He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.

Dear Jesus! We commit our lives in You. You are the Good Shepherd that leads us in the right path. Although we shall not want for earthy bread; You Words are the real bread of life. Even when we fall,we just turn to You and You pick us up again. We thank You for not only blessing us but our seed(children) as well. You are full of grace and mercy. You deserve all our praise. We pray for Your Grace that those that have fallen will turn to You. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus name Amen.  II Corinthians 13:14 NKJV

Psa 37:39-40 KJV 39 But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble. 40 And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.

LORD JESUS, WE ACKNOWLEDGE YOU AS OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS AND SAVIOR.     THANK YOU FOR THE FREE GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS.      THANK YOU FOR YOUR SALVATION. SALVATION, SAVE, PEACE/SHALOM REFERS TO THE WHOLE MAN: BODY, SOUL, AND SPIRIT.      THANK YOU FOR SAVING US COMPLETELY.     WE PUT ALL OUR NEEDS IN YOUR SAVING HANDS.        YOU DELIVER US FROM THE WICKED AND SAVE US IN ALL OUR TRIALS.      GLORY BE TO GOD AMEN. SHALOM2U

PSALM 38 REPENT, CALL UPON THE LORD JESUS
Psalm 38:15-18 KJV15 For in thee, O LORD, do I hope: thou wilt hear, O Lord my God. 16 For I said, Hear me, lest otherwise they should rejoice over me: when my foot slippeth, they magnify themselves against me. 17 For I am ready to halt, and my sorrow is continually before me. 18 For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.

The Psalm begins with how he was suffering because of his sins. He states that the Lord would not hear him. Once he confessed and repented, the Lord heard his cry.

Dear Jesus! We rejoice in the salvation that You have given us. You heard our cry when we called upon Your name. We confessed that we had sin and invited You into our hearts to save us. We can now declare that we are righteous”in You”. May all that need Your righteousness call upon Your name. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus name Amen.  II Corinthians 13:14 NKJV

PSALM 39 BLESS NOT CURSE
Psa 39:1-4 WEB 1 I said, “I will watch my ways, so that I don’t sin with my tongue. I will keep my mouth with a bridle while the wicked is before me.” 2 I was mute with silence. I held my peace, even from good. My sorrow was stirred. 3 My heart was hot within me. While I meditated, the fire burned. I spoke with my tongue: 4 “Yahweh, show me my end, what is the measure of my days. Let me know how frail I am.

There are many times in our lives that things upset us. It’s during these times that we often say things that we regret later. The Bible keeps on telling us about how important our words are. Here is one example: Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.Proverbs 18:21 NKJV

Dear Jesus! Life is short here on the earth but when we think about eternal life with You, things don’t seem to be that important. Instead of cursing, we can bless and have praise and worship come out of our mouths. Declaring Your promises for us gives us faith to continue on. Your Word feeds our souls. As You fed the 5,000, we pray that You would feed the poor in spirit with Your Amazing Grace. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus name Amen. II Corinthians 13:14 NKJV

PSALM 40 BLESS TO TRUST IN JESUS
Psalm 40:1-4 KJV1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. 2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. 3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD. 4 Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

This is another Messianic Psalm. Here Jesus as the”son of man” is talking to God the Father. As such, He speaks as we should speak, declaring what God has done for us. He offered Himself as a sacrifice for all mankind.

Dear Jesus! Only Your sacrifice can make us righteous and give us eternal life. As You put Your trust in the Father to raise You up and have eternal life, we are blessed when we put our trust in You. We are called to sacrifice but it’s for Your honor and glory, for Your Kingdom come. We pray now that those who are not in Your Kingdom may receive Your grace to enter in. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in.Jesus nameAmen.  II Corinthians 13:14 NKJV

PSALM 41 THE LORD BLESSES THE POOR
Psalm 41:1-4 KJV1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. 2 The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies. 3 The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness. 4 I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.

The Psalm begins with Bless is one who considers the poor. Poor here and in many other places doesn’t only mean not rich or wealthy but poor in body, soul and spirit. God is always concerned about the whole man. We are called to help the poor in any area that they need. When we see someone not acting Christ-like, we should not condemn but pray for them. There are many ministries that help the poor in body and spirit. One should try to support them.

Dear Jesus! You have blessed us in so many ways. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,  Ephesians 1:3 NKJV Spiritual blessings come first and then comes the material blessings.  We pray for those that are poor in spirit. May You bless them.  “The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” ’ In Jesus name Amen!  Numbers 6:24‭-‬26 NKJV. www.Shalom2u.org

PSALM 42 HOPE IN GOD
Psalm 42:9-11 ISV9 I will ask God, my Rock, “Why have you forsaken me? Why do I go around mourning under the enemy’s oppression?” 10 Like the shattering of my bones are the taunts of my oppressors, saying to me all day long, “Where is your God?” 11 Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God, for once again I will praise him, since his presence saves me and he is my God.

When I meditate on this Psalm, it appears that the Psalmist( like all of us ) is going through a tough time in his life. He seems to be talking to himself, encouraging himself by remembering his saving God.

Dear Jesus! Your Word reveals all Your glorious works, love and mercy. When we invited You into our hearts to save us, all that You are, became real to us. Now when we go through tough times, our souls remember the goodness of God. We have hope and joy because You are always with us. We pray for those that need Your presence in their lives. “The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” ’in Jesus name Amen! Numbers 6:24‭-‬26 NKJV

PSALM 43 PRAISE JESUS OUR SAVIOUR
Psalm 43:3-5 ISV3 Send forth your light and your truth so they may guide me. Let them bring me to your holy mountain and to your dwelling places. 4 Then I will approach the altar of God, even to God in whom my joy finds its source. Then I will praise you with the lyre, God, my God, 5 Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God, because I will praise him once again, since his presence saves me and he is my God.

Again the Psalmist is pleading with God about his troubles. He asks God for His help and talks to his soul to put its hope in the Lord.

Dear Jesus! You showed us how to go through trials. You always put Your trust in the Father. You have given us many great and precious promises that we can declare while going through these trials. Our hope is in You, for You are faithful to deliver us. You are the Saviour of the world. We pray for those that need a Saviour and that they will come to You. “The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” ’ In Jesus’s name Amen! Numbers 6:24‭-‬26 NKJV.

PSALM 44 VICTORY IN JESUS
Psa 44:1-3 NET1 O God, we have clearly heard; our ancestors have told us what you did in their days, in ancient times. 2 You, by your power, defeated nations and settled our fathers on their land; you crushed the people living there and enabled our ancestors to occupy it. 3 For they did not conquer the land by their swords, and they did not prevail by their strength, but rather by your power, strength and good favor, for you were partial to them.

Hearing what God has done is important for our faith to grow. Faith comes by hearing, hearing the word of God. The next thing to note is that it was God’s power that defeated the enemy.

Psa 44:5-8 NET5 By your power we will drive back our enemies; by your strength we will trample down our foes! 6 For I do not trust in my bow, and I do not prevail by my sword. 7 For you deliver us from our enemies; you humiliate those who hate us. 8 In God I boast all day long, and we will continually give thanks to your name.

This is what we must say and believe when the trials come our way. It seems that we go through many battles in our lifetime. Only by relying on God’s power can we be victorious. We can not trust in our own natural abilities. Always boast in the Lord and give Him Thanksgiving and praise.

Psa 44:9 KJV But thou hast cast off, and put us to shame; and goest not forth with our armies.

Psa 44:17-18 KJV 17 All this is come upon us; yet have we not forgotten thee, neither have we dealt falsely in thy covenant. 18 Our heart is not turned back, neither have our steps declined from thy way;

Now the Psalm is talking about being defeated although they claim to be faithful.  There are group battles and there are individual battles.  Let’s take America for example.  There are some in America who are faithful believers but unfortunately there are many that are not. There are too many believers not using the Armour of God; but God is waking us up and calling us to fight for the Kingdom of God.

Dear Jesus!  You paid a great price to set us free and bring us into Your Kingdom.  You have given us Your Word, Name, authority, and the Holy Spirit to defeat the Kingdom of darkness.  Once again, You are raising an army that will bring victory in Your name.  We declare Shalom/Peace on earth, good will to all in Jesus name Amen!

PSALM 45 JESUS ALL GLORIOUS
My heart overflows with a noble theme. I recite my verses for the king. My tongue is like the pen of a skillful writer. 2 You are the most handsome of the sons of men. Grace has anointed your lips, therefore God has blessed you forever. 3 Gird your sword on your thigh, mighty one: your splendor and your majesty. 4 In your majesty ride on victoriously on behalf of truth, humility, and righteousness. Let your right hand display awesome deeds.

This Psalm is all about Jesus. Hebrew 1:9 quotes verse 7 of this Psalm. It’s telling us how He lived here on earth and how He is reigning now in the universe.

Dear Jesus! You are full of all glory, praise, and honor. You are flawless, impeccable, and immaculate in all your ways. It’s hard for us to understand Your Love for us. Compared to You, we are nothing and yet Your love is so great that You want to bring us into Your image and likeness.  Thank You for making us a New Creation.  There are many more that You would like to become a child of God. We pray for them.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus name Amen.  II Corinthians 13:14 NKJV  Shalom 2U

PSALM 46 JESUS THE RIVER Of LIFE
Psa 46:1-4 NHEB God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; 3 though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling. Selah. 4 There is a river, the streams of which make the city of God glad, the holy place of the tents of the Most High.

The Psalmist is saying that those who know their God, won’t be afraid. Verse 4 Goes on a declares that there is a ” river” that flows through the city of God. This is where we are called to dwell.

Dear Jesus! You are all that we need. You are like a river that keeps giving us life. You are a continual source of protection from the adversities of life. When we dwell in You, we are not fearful. You are a continual source of love, grace, peace, and mercy. Because of Your presence, we are full of joy and thanksgiving. We pray that more will come to You, the river of life. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus name Amen. II Corinthians 13:14 NKJV. www.Shalom2u.org

PSALM 47 JEHOVAH-NISSI
Psa 47:6-9 NET 6 Sing to God! Sing! Sing to our king! Sing! 7 For God is king of the whole earth! Sing a well-written song! 8 God reigns over the nations! God sits on his holy throne! 9 The nobles of the nations assemble, along with the people of the God of Abraham, for God has authority over the rulers of the earth. He is highly exalted!

One can not stress enough about the importance of singing and praising God. There are too many Christians going to church but only being entertained by the choir or band. They don’t sing along. When they go to an event that they love, like a football game then they shout their heart out. If we want God to defeat our enemies, we need to praise Him for all that He is.

Dear Jesus! We declare that You are the King of kings and Lord of lords. You are the light of the world, the Prince of Peace, the Bread of life, and Saviour of the world. You are Jehovah-Nissi that fights for us and gives us victory. We come against the darkness and declare ” Light Be” in Jesus name. We declare Peace on earth, good will to all. Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all. In Jesus name amen.   Shalom 2U

PSALM 48 VICTORY IN JESUS
Psalm 48:1-3 NET1 The LORD is great and certainly worthy of praise in the city of our God, his holy hill. 2 It is lofty and pleasing to look at, a source of joy to the whole earth. Mount Zion resembles the peaks of Zaphon; it is the city of the great king. 3 God is in its fortresses; he reveals himself as its defender. 8. We heard about God’s mighty deeds, now we have seen them, in the city of the LORD, the invincible Warrior, in the city of our God. God makes it permanently secure

The Psalmist declares that the Lord is great and worthy of praise. We haven’t seen much praise going on today and that’s why our country hasn’t been that victorious.  Thank God, He has been raising up worshipers today that are turning things around.  As we continue to give God praise and declare His name we will see more and more victory, more light instead of darkness, more peace instead of turmoil.

Dear Jesus!  We thank you for Your patience and for not giving up on us.  You remembered how our forefathers dedicated this land to You.  You remembered how our parents and grandparents gave their hearts to You.  You remembered how we have been praying for the lost that Your Amazing Grace would fill their hearts.  More and more will hear of Your Victory over the kingdom of darkness and come to Your marvelous Light.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus name Amen. II Corinthians

PSALM 49 GOD REDEEMS
Psa 49:15-17 KJV 15 But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah. 16 Be not thou afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased; 17 For when he dieth he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him.

Here we see a contrast between a believing Christian and one who does not believe.   Not all believing Christian are poor and not all unbelievers are rich.   I believe that God wants to bless us in all ways so that we can be a blessing to others.  The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it.  Proverbs 10:22 NKJV.    The main thing is not to be jealous of the rich but pray that they would come to believe and be a blessing to others.

Dear Jesus!   Your Word tells us that we are blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places.   To the natural man this might not seem important but we know better.   It all starts in the Spirit before it appears in the flesh.   As we go from day to day declaring all the blessings we have “in You “; we shall be exceedingly blessed.   We now pray for all to receive Your blessings.   “The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” ’  Numbers 6:24‭-‬26 NKJV

PSALM 50 GOD HEARS THE RIGHTEOUS
Psalm 50:14-17 KJV 14 Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High: 15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me. 16 But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth? 17 Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.

This Psalm starts with declaring that God is Almighty and He hears those that have made a covenant with Him by sacrifice.   We are in a covenant with Jesus,  the wicked are not.

Dear Jesus!   By Your sacrifice You have established an everlasting covenant with God.  In You we are declared righteous and have all the blessings that come with it.  We can call upon Your name and be delivered from our enemies.   Glory to our saving God, all powerful, loving,  and merciful God.   We pray for those that need a Saviour,  a deliverer.  One that can declare that they are righteous.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’s name Amen.   II Corinthians 13:14 NKJV.            Shalom 2U

PSALM 51 AMAZING GRACE
Psalm 51:5-10 NET 5 Look, I was guilty of sin from birth, a sinner the moment my mother conceived me. 6 Look, you desire integrity in the inner man; you want me to possess wisdom. 7 Sprinkle me with water and I will be pure; wash me and I will be whiter than snow. 8 Grant me the ultimate joy of being forgiven! May the bones you crushed rejoice! 9 Hide your face from my sins! Wipe away all my guilt! 10 Create for me a pure heart, O God! Renew a resolute spirit within me!

The Psalm begins with pleading to God for mercy because he had sin.  He confessed his sins and asked for forgiveness and to be cleansed.  He knows that he will be at peace and joyful when his sins are forgiven.

Dear Jesus!  By Your sacrifice we can experience all these things: forgiveness,  cleansing,  joy, and a pure heart.  All You ask is a humble heart.  Psa 51:17 NET The sacrifices God desires are a humble spirit –  O God, a humble and repentant heart you will not reject.  By Your grace we were able to humble ourselves,  confess our sins, and ask You to save us.  Now we are full of joy, peace,  and love.  We can never thank and praise You enough.   We pray for those that haven’t experienced the joy of Your salvation.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus name Amen.
II Corinthians 13:14 NKJV   Shalom 2U

PSALM 52  TRUST IN THE LORD
Psa 52:7-9 NET 7 “Look, here is the man who would not make God his protector! He trusted in his great wealth and was confident about his plans to destroy others.” 8 But I am like a flourishing olive tree in the house of God; I continually trust in God’s loyal love. 9 I will continually thank you when you execute judgment; I will rely on you, for your loyal followers know you are good.

The Psalm begins with those that refuse to trust in God.  Instead they rely on their own strength, power, and wisdom will surely fail.   They will not receive any help from God.   The Christian Faith is all about trusting in God.

Dear Jesus!   We thank You for all Your blessings.  We come to know, believe, and declare how loving and faithful You are.   “If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, When men rose up against us, Psalms 124:2 NKJV.   We would never survive; but You have been with us.  Watching over us even though we didn’t know that You were with us.   What Amazing Grace that You never give up on us.   We pray for those that haven’t yet answered Your call.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus name Amen.  II Corinthians 13:14 NKJV.    www.Shalom2U.org

PSALM 53 FOOLS SAY THERE IS NO GOD
Psalm 53:1-3 NET1 Fools say to themselves, “There is no God.” They sin and commit evil deeds; none of them does what is right. 2 God looks down from heaven at the human race, to see if there is anyone who is wise and seeks God. 3 Everyone rejects God; they are all morally corrupt. None of them does what is right, not even one!   Psa 53:6 NET I wish the deliverance of Israel would come from Zion! When God restores the well-being of his people, may Jacob rejoice, may Israel be happy!

God is always looking for people who acknowledge Him.  A lot of people don’t acknowledge God at all.   Then there is another big group that believes that there is a God but really doesn’t give God the honor that He deserves as God.  This is one reason why some prayers are not answered.   God is looking for someone that believes in Him above everything and everyone else.  There are plenty of things that we put ahead of God and they can hurt our relationship with Him.

Dear Jesus!   Even after all that You suffered for us.  All that You gave up to redeem us, there are still many that deny You.  You showed us time and time again how much God is love and that is what You want us to believe.   It still took Your Amazing Grace for our eyes to see and our ears to hear.   We now use Your name and authority so that others would hear the Good News.   In the name of Jesus,  we command that the blind see,  deaf hear, lame walk,  and the captives be set free.   To God be the glory Amen.    www.SHALOM2u.org

PSALM 54 GOD OUR DELIVERER
Psa 54:1-4 NET 1 O God, deliver me by your name! Vindicate me by your power! 2 O God, listen to my prayer! Pay attention to what I say! 3 For foreigners attack me; ruthless men, who do not respect God, seek my life. (Selah) 4 Look, God is my deliverer! The Lord is among those who support me. Psa 54:7 NET Surely he rescues me from all trouble, and I triumph over my enemies.

This is a time when king Saul was coming after Him.  The main difference between king David and King Saul was that David knew that with God nothing is impossible.  David knew that God was Almighty.   Saul never learned to trust in God.   It wasn’t because David was sinless, when he actually committed some big sins.   God loved David because he knew that God is a loving God that we can always come to when we fall or need help.

Dear Jesus!  As the Son of man You knew the love and power of Your Father.   You have revealed that to us.   In You we are a child of God and we can call upon Him for all our needs.   We pray for all in need,  all that need a Saviour and Deliverer that they come to You.The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus name Amen.  II Corinthians 13:14 NKJV    Shalom 2U

PSALM 55 GOD HEARS & DELIVERS
Psa 55:12-14 KJV 12 For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him: 13 But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance. 14 We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company.  22  Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

Again King David is calling upon the Lord to hear him and save him from his enemies.   Jesus was also betrayed by one that was very close to Him.   Jesus would have forgiven him if he had asked.   David was heavy burden but he cast them upon the Lord.

Dear Jesus!   It seems at times that the devil is always trying to cause trouble.   He may even use someone close to us.   As You have forgiven us, we forgive them.  As we cast our burdens on You, we can rest in Your protection and care.   Thank you for Your peace.   We pray for those that are heavy burden.  Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, in Jesus name Amen!   II Peter 1:2 NKJV         Shalom 2U

PSALM 56 TRUST IN GOD
Psa 56:1-4 WEB 1 Be merciful to me, God, for man wants to swallow me up.  All day long, he attacks and oppresses me. 2 My enemies want to swallow me up all day long,  for they are many who fight proudly against me. 3 When I am afraid,  I will put my trust in you. 4 In God, I praise his word.  In God, I put my trust.  I will not be afraid.  What can flesh do to me?

Again the Psalmist talks about all those that are after him.  They attack him and oppress him to the point that he becomes fearful.    We all at times come under attack and become fearful.  It’s important to remember that it’s not flesh and blood causing these things but an evil spirit.  We bless the person,  seeking God’s grace on them to be saved.   We come against the evil spirit and command it to go.

Dear Jesus!   You told us that in this world that we would have tribulations but fear not for You have overcome the world.  When we focus on You, You give us Peace.   You are Jehovah Shalom,  the Prince of Peace.   Now we pray for those that need Your grace and peace.   Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, in Jesus name Amen!    I Corinthians 1:3 NKJV    Shalom 2U

PSALM 57 PRAISE GOD OUR DELIVERER
Psalm 57:1-3 WEB 1 Be merciful to me, God, be merciful to me,  for my soul takes refuge in you.  Yes, in the shadow of your wings, I will take refuge,  until disaster has passed. 2 I cry out to God Most High,  to God who accomplishes my requests for me. 3 He will send from heaven, and save me,  he rebukes the one who is pursuing me.  Selah.  God will send out his loving kindness and his truth.

King David went through many trials during his life.   He would cry out to God and God would deliver him.  David knew how to get God’s ear.  How to get God’s attention.  He knew how to enter into the presence of God.

Psalm 57:9-11 WEB 9 I will give thanks to you, Lord, among the peoples.  I will sing praises to you among the nations. 10 For your great loving kindness reaches to the heavens,  and your truth to the skies. 11 Be exalted, God, above the heavens.  Let your glory be over all the earth.

Dear Jesus!  As the Son of man, You always gave praise and worship to the Father.   As we focus on You,  all that You are and all that You have done for us.   We give You all honor and praise. Glory, Glory, Glory to the Lamb of God, who washed our sins away.   You are the Savior of the world!   We pray for all to receive Your saving Grace.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus name Amen.  II Corinthians 13:14 NKJV    Shalom 2U

PSALM 58 REJOICE IN GOD’S GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
Psa 58:3 WEB The wicked go astray from the womb.  They are wayward as soon as they are born, speaking lies.   Psa 58:7 Let them vanish like water that flows away.  When they draw the bow, let their arrows be made blunt. Psa 58:10 The righteous shall rejoice when he sees the vengeance.  He shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked, 11 so that men shall say, “Most certainly there is a reward for the righteous.  Most certainly there is a God who judges the earth.”

The Psalm begins with how bad everyone is,  going astray from their mother’s womb.   It goes on how God should punish them.  Then it goes on how the righteous will rejoice to see the wicked fall and the righteous rewarded.

Dear Jesus!  I have a problem understanding this Psalm.   It is true that there is none that are righteous; all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.   It is also true that You came to save the unrighteous.  You took our sins and gave us Your righteousness.   We can only rejoice in Your Amazing Grace that makes us righteous.   You wept over those that refused Your salvation.   We also wept for the lost and prayed that they would receive Your salvation.  We rejoice with the angels over every sinner that repents. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus name Amen. II Corinthians 13:14 NKJV                Shalom 2U

PSALM 59 Pray for your enemies
Psa 59:13-17 Consume them in wrath.  Consume them, and they will be no more.  Let them know that God rules in Jacob,  to the ends of the earth.  Selah. 14 At evening let them return.  Let them howl like a dog, and go around the city. 15 They shall wander up and down for food,  and wait all night if they aren’t satisfied. 16 But I will sing of your strength.  Yes, I will sing aloud of your loving kindness in the morning.  For you have been my high tower,  a refuge in the day of my distress. 17 To you, my strength, I will sing praises.  For God is my high tower, the God of my mercy.

The Psalmist is again asking God to protect him and fight against his enemies.   When we read scriptures like this,  it’s hard to rightly divide the Word.   We are under the New Testament and we should abide under it.  Jesus says to love your enemies and pray for them.   But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,  Matthew 5:44  Our flesh has a hard time doing this.   We would rather see them suffer for all the trouble that they cause us.   This is why we see so much darkness.   We need to pray for our enemies that they would repent.

Dear Jesus!   Your Words bring life, they bring grace and peace.  There were many against you.  Many wanted to harm You and see You suffer.   There on the cross, You prayed Father forgive them for they know not what they do.  So now we pray for all those that are fighting against Your Kingdom.   May they receive Your Amazing Grace and start serving the Kingdom of God.  PSALM 61 WITH GOD FOREVER

PSALM 60 Revival
Psa 60:9-12 Who will bring me into the strong city?  Who has led me to Edom? 10 Haven’t you, God, rejected us?  You don’t go out with our armies, God. 11 Give us help against the adversary,  for the help of man is vain. 12 Through God we will do valiantly,  for it is he who will tread down our adversaries.

The Psalm begins with the Psalmist declaring that God has forsaken them.  God isn’t with them in their battles.  He goes on and says that God will give victory to those that fear (reverence) Him.

This reminds me of how things have been in the world for some time now.   We have been losing battles not because we aren’t strong enough.  It’s because we haven’t been given God the honor and glory that He deserves.   We have put too many things above God.

Now, why do I title this Psalm: Revival?   They went through a Revival and God gave them victory.   We are seeing today ( 2023 ) Revivals taking place throughout the world.  The Holy Spirit is changing the hearts of many to come back to the LORD.   And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: John 16:8.  I believe that our prayers are being heard so keep praying for the lost.  We are seeing victory in Christ Jesus through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Dear Jesus!   You have given us a helper.  One that is mighty like You.  One to help us give victory for Your Kingdom.  As we continue to pray for the lost, bless and not curse them; Your Holy Spirit will change their hearts and bring them back to You.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’ name Amen.  II Corinthians 13:14    Shalom 2U

PSALM 61 With God forever
Psalm 61:3-5 For you have been a refuge for me,  a strong tower from the enemy. 4 I will dwell in your tent forever.  I will take refuge in the shelter of your wings.  Selah. 5 For you, God, have heard my vows.  You have given me the heritage of those who fear your name.

King David had many problems but he always knew where to go for help and protection.   He always saw God as his Rock and Refuge.  He knew that his faith in God would be rewarded with a heritage that lasts forever.   It says “fear” but it also can and should be translated as “reverence “.  There are many that do and do not fear God.   When we reverence God,  we are putting Him first place in our lives.  We are in awe of His power, and majesty but also His love, faithfulness, and care for us.

Dear Jesus!  When we think about all the suffering that You endured for us; how can we fear You? Your love, Grace, and mercy draw us to You.  Your Word clearly tells us not to fear.  I John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.    Thank You Jesus for casting out our fears and replacing them with Your perfect love.   We pray for those that haven’t received Your perfect love.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’ name Amen.  II Corinthians 13:14  Shalom 2U

Psa 62:1-2 NET 1 For God alone I patiently wait; he is the one who delivers me. 2 He alone is my protector and deliverer. He is my refuge; I will not be upended.

” I patiently wait ” This might be the hardest part of waiting on the Lord for our breakthrough.    There were things happening in my life for over 40 years.    That’s a very long time.   Why so long? First because God wasn’t first place in my life.   I had a pretty good relationship with God but still had to many things above GOD in my life.    Next i kept asking God to do something that He had already declared that He had done.    Note: there’s no faith in this type of prayer. ( there are things that are not clearly expressed and these we seek God’s will and direction : who to marry, career etc. ) I was asking for something that was clearly HIS will. It was one of the great precious promises that was fulfilled by Jesus sacrifice. So after 30 years or so, I finally started to know, believe and declare the promises.    I started to use my God given authority in the name of Jesus.    Since I was not only praying for myself but my love ones, it’s a harder battle but still is God’s will for us to intercede.    It took a couple of more years; but kept declaring God’s word and praising Him for His faithfulness.    Eventually I got the breakthrough.    There’s more battles that I’m fighting but I’m not just waiting patiently.     I’m fighting the fight of faith, knowing, believing and declaring God’s word until it comes to pass.
Dear Jesus! We thank you for all your patience; waiting on us to really hear and believe in you.    We so easily give up on ourselves and others.    What great love you have to wait on us. Your love and sacrifice enables us to wait patiently on you, our deliverer, our rock, our Saviour.  Lord Jesus, Your Word tells us that love is patient, love is kind.  You are full of love.  We pray for Your grace to patiently wait on You. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’ name Amen.  II Corinthians 13:14    Shalom 2U    To God be the glory Amen!       Www.Shalom2u.org

PSALM 63 GOODNESS OF GOD
Psalm 63:1-5 web God, you are my God.  I will earnestly seek you.  My soul thirsts for you.  My flesh longs for you,  in a dry and weary land, where there is no water. 2 So I have seen you in the sanctuary,  watching your power and your glory. 3 Because your loving kindness is better than life,  my lips shall praise you. 4 So I will bless you while I live.  I will lift up my hands in your name. 5 My soul shall be satisfied as with the richest food.  My mouth shall praise you with joyful lips,

King David really believed in God.   There are many that say they believe in God but their actions rarely display it.  King David wasn’t perfect and he committed some very serious sins.  The thing that made King David great was his love for God.  David knew how to praise and worship God.  He always put his faith in God, not in himself or anyone else.  He always reflected on the goodness of God and gave him praise.

Dear Jesus!  Your Word tells us that it’s the goodness of God that leads to repentance.  We love the songs that worship Your goodness. “God is so good.  God is so good.  God is so good, He’s so good to me “.   We try to tell others about how good You are, but they seem to fall on deaf ears.   We command the deaf to hear in Jesus’ name!   May the goodness of God fall on the lost, so that they would repent.  The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’ name Amen.   II Corinthians 13:14 nkjv.  Shalom 2U

PSALM 64 God’s ways higher than our ways
Psa 64:5-10 WEB 5 They encourage themselves in evil plans.  They talk about laying snares secretly.  They say, “Who will see them?” 6 They plot injustice, saying, “We have made a perfect plan!”  Surely man’s mind and heart are cunning. 7 But God will shoot at them.  They will be suddenly struck down with an arrow. 8 Their own tongues shall ruin them.  All who see them will shake their heads. 9 All mankind shall be afraid.  They shall declare the work of God,  and shall wisely ponder what he has done. 10 The righteous shall be glad in Yahweh,  and shall take refuge in him.  All the upright in heart shall praise him!

This Psalm begins with how evil men plan evil deeds against the righteous.   It’s like that today. Many good men are being attacked for things that aren’t true and not important.   I hear from some reliable prophets that God is going to turn their evil plans around.  God will uncover their plans and the world will know the truth.

Dear Jesus!  We know how the wicked planned evil against You.  Like today, the devil was behind it all.   They thought  they had won but Your death resulted in the greatest victory of all.  But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. I Corinthians 2:7‭-‬8 NKJV  Yes, God’s ways are higher than our ways.   We all rejoice in Your Victory that opened the way for our salvation.   There is no limit to what Your sacrifice has accomplished in saving the lost.  We pray for Your saving Grace on the lost.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’ name Amen.   II Corinthians 13:14

PSALM 65 Revival
 Psa 65:1-5 NHEB 1 Praise awaits you, God, in Zion. And to you shall vows be performed. 2 You who hear prayer, to you all men will come. 3 Sins overwhelmed me, but you atoned for our transgressions. 4 Blessed is the one you choose and bring near, that he may dwell in your courts. We will be filled with the goodness of your house, your holy temple. 5 By awesome deeds of righteousness, you answer us, God of our salvation. You who are the hope of every part of the earth, of those who are far away on the sea;

This Psalm reminds me how he saved me and how He is going throughout the world today trying to save the lost.   The Holy Spirit is going about convicting a sinner to repent.  It’s not condemning but a strong urgency that they need to be saved.   Our prayers for the lost ignite the Holy Spirit to call them to come to Jesus, the Savior of the world.   The world is in awe of God’s marvelous deeds.

Dear Jesus!   What an amazing God You are!  The Father wanted us redeemed and so You became the sacrifice for our sins.   Then the Holy Spirit goes forth to bring unto You,  the Savior of the world.   Glory to the Lamb!   We continue to pray for all the lost, especially for our loved ones.     The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’ name Amen.  II Corinthians 13:14 NKJV    Shalom 2U

PSALM 66 We rejoice in the goodness of God
Psa 66:1-5 NHEB 1 Make a joyful shout to God, all the earth. 2 Sing to the glory of his name. Offer glory and praise. 3 Tell God, “How awesome are your deeds. Through the greatness of your power, your enemies submit themselves to you. 4 All the earth will worship you, and will sing to you; they will sing to your name.” Selah. 5 Come, and see God’s deeds— awesome work on behalf of the descendants of Adam.

Again a Psalm is telling us to sing, praise, glory, joyfully shout, declare how great and awesome God is.   This is what God wants from us.  It is what God deserves.  Unfortunately there are too many people not giving God what He deserves.   It all goes back to “free will “.  The more a Nation gives glory and honor to God,  it will be blessed.  When a Nation ignores God, God ignores them.   It also states that God will not listen to those who continue sinning.

Dear Jesus!  You did what we couldn’t do.  By Your GRACE, You redeemed, sanctified, made us righteous and made us a New Creation in You.  You filled us with Your love, how can we not praise and worship You.  There are many that are blind to the goodness of God.  We pray for Your Grace so that they can see the goodness of God.  The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s love, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus name Amen.  2 Corinthians 13:14     Shalom 2U

PSALM 67  Let the earth rejoice
Psalm 67:1-4 May God be merciful to us, bless us, and cause his face to shine on us. Selah. 2 That your way may be known on earth, and your salvation among all nations, 3 let the peoples praise you, God. Let all the peoples praise you. 4 Let the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you will judge the world in righteousness. You will judge the peoples with equity, and guide the nations on earth. Selah.

Dear Jesus!  GLORY!  GLORY!  GLORY to our Most High God.  We called on You for Your mercy.  We asked for Your Grace and for You to shine Your face on us.  We have been praying for the lost and many have heard Your Good News and came to You.   The Holy Spirit is going throughout the world calling many to come to You and receive Your salvation, Your righteousness.  The darkness in the world can not stop the brightness of Your glory not to shine.  We shall continue to pray and You will continue to shine Your face, love, and grace on the earth.    ‘The LORD bless you, and keep you. The LORD make his face to shine on you, and be gracious to you. The LORD lift up his face towards you, and give you peace.’In Jesus’s name Amen! Numbers 6:24‭-‬26 WEB  Shalom 2U

PSALM 68 Jesus saves the just & the unjust
Psa 68:2 nheb As smoke is driven away, so drive them away. As wax melts before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.

Now in the Old Testament this is true but in the New Testament God is pouring out His grace on all.  We are experiencing a great revival.  Sinners are being saved, delivered, and healed.   They are receiving, like we did, God’s Amazing Grace.

Psalm 68:4-6 NHEB Sing to God. Sing praises to his name. Extol him who rides on the clouds: to the LORD, his name. Rejoice before him. 5 A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation. 6 God sets the lonely in families. He brings out the prisoners with singing, but the rebellious dwell in a sun-scorched land.

It appears that God has great love for the fatherless and widows.   There are some communities where the fatherless rate is as high as 70%.   I live in an adult community where most people are older than 65.  This results in a high rate of widows.   As we are called to be imitators of Christ,  we should help them when we can.

Dear Jesus!  You have blessed us in so many ways.  We are blessed to be a blessing.   Give us a heart of compassion for those in need.   Like You, help us never to give up on the lost.   We pray: The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s love, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus name Amen.   2 Corinthians 13:14.          Shalom 2U

PSALM 69 Jesus Restores
Psa 69:1-4 nheb Save me, God, for the waters have come up to my neck. 2 I sink in deep mire, where there is no foothold. I have come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me. 3 I am weary with my crying. My throat is dry. My eyes fail, looking for my God. 4 Those who hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head. Those who want to cut me off, being my enemies wrongfully, are mighty. I have to restore what I did not take away.

This is another Psalm that reveals to us what Jesus had to suffer for our redemption.   One of the many blessings that we receive is that Jesus restored what He did not take away.   He restores what the devil has taken from us.

Men don’t despise a thief if he steals to satisfy himself when he is hungry, but if he is found, he shall restore seven times. He shall give all the wealth of his house. Proverbs 6:30‭-‬31

The devil has been stealing from us all our lives by his lies and deception.   He stole from Adam all the blessings that God had given him.  We should have inherited all these blessings but they were stolen.   Now by faith in Jesus,  we can command the thief, the devil,  to restore seven times what he has taken from us.

Dear Jesus! We declare our faith in You.  By Your sacrifice You restored all that the devil had taken away.  You are now the ruler of heaven and earth.  All must submit to Your name.  We command the thief, the devil to restore 7 times what you have taken from us.  Restore our wealth, our health and our relationship with God and man in Jesus name Amen!   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s love, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.      Shalom 2U

PSALM 70 Let God Be Exalted
Psa 70:4-5 Nheb  Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you. Let those who love your salvation continually say, “Let God be exalted.” 5 But I am poor and needy. Come to me quickly, God.  You are my help and my deliverer. LORD, do not delay.

Dear Jesus!   Glory! Glory! Glory to the Lamb!   We thank You Jesus.  You opened up our hearts to seek after You.  You opened up our eyes to see that there is salvation only in You.   You came to save the poor in spirit and the needy.  Now You fill us with Your abounded life.   We pray that those that are still poor and needy would receive Your Amazing Grace.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s love, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen. 2 Corinthians 13:14. Shalom 2U

PSALM 71 Seek God & Be Bless
Psalm 71:1-5 NHEB 1 In you, LORD, I take refuge. Never let me be disappointed. 2 Deliver me in your righteousness, and rescue me. Turn your ear to me, and save me. 3 Be to me a rock of refuge to which I may always go. Give the command to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress. 4 Rescue me, my God, from the hand of the wicked, from the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man. 5 For you are my hope, Lord GOD; my confidence from my youth.

The Psalmist knows that He needs God.  He can’t depend on himself.   There are too many enemies in life, both physical and spiritual.  There are too many demands to be righteous.  He seeks God for all his needs, from his birth. God is his Rock of Refuge. He declares to all how great God is and all are amazed by God’s goodness in him.

Dear Jesus!   We are amazed by Your goodness to us.  You sacrificed so much only so that You could bless us in so many ways.  We will continue to tell others of the goodness of God.   All the days of our lives,  in You we should seek for all our needs.  You are always faithful.   We pray that the lost would see how good You are to us and come to You.  The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s love, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’ name Amen.  2 Corinthians 13:14  Shalom 2U

PSALM 72 Jesus Brings Righteousness & Salvation
Psalm 72:1- God, give the king your justice; your righteousness to the royal son. 2 He will judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with justice.

This Psalm is telling us all about Jesus,  the King’s Son.  It tells that He will bring justice and righteousness to the poor.   Note: poor, humble, poor in spirit not full of pride and self righteousness.

When Jesus as the Son of man read this Psalm,  He received revelation of who He was and His mission on the earth.   Psa 72:4  He will judge the poor of the people. He will save the children of the needy, and will break the oppressor in pieces.    Psa 72:12 For he will deliver the needy when he cries; the poor, who has no helper.    He will deliver the needy when he cries.   Remember how the blind man kept calling to Jesus.  He cried out, “Jesus, you son of David, have mercy on me!”.  Then there was the man at the pool that had no one to help him.  Jesus commanded him to arise and walk.

Dear Jesus!  Everything that You do is a blessing to all that believe in You.   You bless all that hear Your Good News and believe in You.  You gave them peace, justice, righteousness, love, mercy, deliverance, and healing.  Your Kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom that should reign forevermore.   You gave us to reign here on earth in Your name.   In the name of Jesus,  we command Shalom/ Peace on earth and goodwill to all.  We command “Light Be “. We command that the blind see, deaf hear,  lame walk, unclean be made clean and the captives set free in Jesus name amen.   Glory to the Lamb!

PSALM 73 Don’t Be Envious of the Wicket
Psalm 73:1- Surely God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart. 2 But as for me, my feet were almost gone. My steps had nearly slipped. 3 For I was envious of the arrogant, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked…….  21 For my soul was grieved. I was embittered in my heart. 22 I was so senseless and ignorant. I was a brute beast before you. 23 Nevertheless, I am continually with you. You have held my right hand. 24 You will guide me with your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.

We all would like to believe that we have a pure heart.  Like the Psalmist,  we can become jealous and envious of the wicked.  Some seem  to be blessed more than the righteous.   When we dwell on the promises of God, how our life ends is just the beginning of eternal life with God.

Dear Jesus!  Only by looking at the things in life in a natural way, can we become discouraged and envious.  You tell us to dwell on things above not on things below.   When we meditate on how You have blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places; how can we not be overwhelmed with all that You have given to us.   You offer us more than we can ever think or imagine.   We pray for those that need to see that there is so much more to life than they can ever imagine.   ‘The LORD bless you, and keep you. The LORD make his face to shine on you, and be gracious to you. The LORD lift up his face towards you, and give you peace.’ In Jesus’s name Amen!          Shalom 2U

PSALM 74 Idolatry
Psa 74:1-2 EasyEnglish God, will you never think about us again?  Why are you burning with anger against the people that belong to you? 2 Think (again) about:  your people that you bought a long time ago   the people that you chose and saved   the Mountain called Zion where you lived

We see here the Psalmist asking the big question.  Why are You angry at us? Why have You forsaken us, Your people?  We ask God the same questions when things aren’t going well in our lives.   It’s hard to face the truth.  For many of God’s people go into Idolatry.  Back then, they stopped sacrificing to God and offered up sacrifices to pagan gods.  We have different kinds of idols.  Anything that we place above God, good or bad, is an idol. It took me 60 years before I could see it.  Even though I was going to church, praying and reading the Bible,  I still had things in my life that I put above God.  I would have had a lot less troubles in my life if I had only put God first.   Now I am sure that there were faithful followers of God but sometimes the good suffer with the bad.

Psa 74:22-23 EasyEnglish 22 Stand up, God! Tell everyone that you are right.  Remember that fools are laughing at you all the time. 23 Listen to the noise that your enemies make.  The sound of people fighting against you goes on all the time!

Now the Psalmist is pleading with God to remember His promises and help the poor but defeat those that are fighting against You.

Dear Jesus!  I know that we aren’t always faithful but nonetheless You are always faithful.  You never leave us or forsake us but You wait patiently for us to return and be faithful to You.  There are many distractions in life but You should always come first.   We pray for the grace for ourselves and others to make You first place in our minds and hearts.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s love, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all in     Jesus’s name Amen.  2 Corinthians 13:14. Shalom 2U

PSALM 75  Praise GOD & His Presence Draws Near
Psa 75:1 ISV We praise you, God!   We praise you—your presence draws near—   as we declare your wonderful deeds. ….  Psa 75:9-10 ISV 9 But as for me, I will declare forever,   singing praise to the God of Jacob. 10 I (GOD) will cut down the strength of the wicked,   but the strength of the righteous will be lifted up.

Here again we see how to experience a closer presence of God.   He is always with us but we need Him with us in a mighty way.  Now the devil’s evil plans can’t defeat us.

Dear Jesus!   You want us to seek You everyday, every moment of the day.  You gave us Holy Communion, where we can partake of You so that You can nourish us to be strong in You.   We remember Your body and blood.  We remember and declare how Your sacrifice redeemed us.  We remember and declare how Your blood protects us and cleanses us from all unrighteousness.   We plead the Blood of Jesus over our lives, our households,  over our nation.  The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s love, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’s name Amen.   2 Corinthians 13:14. Shalom 2U

PSALM 76 Let GOD Dwell in You
Psa 76:1-4  In Judah, God is known. His name is great in Israel. 2 And his abode is in Salem, and his lair in Zion. 3 There he broke the flaming arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the weapons of war. Selah. 4 Glorious are you, and excellent, more than mountains of game.

There were times that God was great in Israel but they turned away from God and God allowed them to be defeated.  There were times when God was great in America. Times when we would sing ” God bless America”.  Although we aren’t always faithful,  God is faithful.   We have seen how God is raising up Israel.  He brought them back into their land and they have been growing since.  Always outnumbered but not defeated because God’s name is great again in Israel.   God is working in America.   Many are turning back to God.  We are in a great Revival and His name will be great in America.

Dear Jesus!   You have defeated the devil and his kingdom.  As we continue to worship You above all other things; You will be with us and we won’t be defeated.   We pray that more and more will come to You and give victory to Your Kingdom.   ‘The LORD bless us, and keep us. The LORD makes his face to shine on us, and be gracious to us. The LORD lift up his face towards us, and give us peace.’   God bless America!  Peace on earth and goodwill to all in Jesus’s name Amen!  Shalom 2U

PSALM 77 Keep trusting,  Keep believing,  Keep praising
Psalm 77:1-3  I was crying to God with my voice; even to God with my voice, and he gave ear to me. 2 In the day of my trouble, my heart was turned to the Lord: my hand was stretched out in the night without resting; my soul would not be comforted. 3 I will keep God in memory, with sounds of grief; my thoughts are troubled, and my spirit is overcome. ….      7 Will the Lord put me away for ever? will he be kind no longer? 8 Is his mercy quite gone for ever? has his word come to nothing?

We all have been through times of trouble when our hearts are full of grief.   We cry out to God all night long and yet we get no relief.  We  love the Lord and we know that He loves us but yet He is not coming to our rescue.  We should examine ourselves and make sure that we don’t have any false idols.  After that we should recall the wonderful works of God and His great mercy to us.

Dear Jesus!  We do recall Your sacrifice, Your mighty works, Your great and precious promises.  No one’s love is greater than Yours.  How can we not love You above all. So we will look to You LORD. We will wait for the God of our salvation.  Our God will hear us.  We pray for those that haven’t received Your Amazing Grace and great love.  May their eyes see, ears hear, and hearts receive the Good News.  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only born Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him. John 3:16‭-‬17   To God be the glory Amen!   Shalom 2U

IDOLATRY:TIEING GOD’S HANDS  9/17/20

Psa 78:58  For they provoked Him { GOD } to anger with their high places, and moved HIM to jealousy with their engraved images. v59 When God heard this, He was angry and greatly adhorred Israel; V60 So that HE forsook the tabernacle at Shiloh, the tent where HE dwelt among men.  v61 and delivered his strength into captivity, his glory into the adversary’s hand.

This is very hard to understand. My take on this is when we our in idolatry; God’s hands are tied. HE leaves us to ourselves since we have left Him as being our God and went after false gods. Most of the problems in the world today is a result of this. We ask ” where is God “? The fact is we left him. When we repent, He forgives and manifests His presence to us.

Dear Jesus. You are the way, the truth and the live.   We exhalt  you above all.  You alone are the Saviour of the world   Help us to always seek you for you came to give us abounded life. Amen.
Shalom2u.

Psa 90:2 KJV Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.

We must always see God as God. The God who loves us, protects us, cares for us, watching over us, feeds us , blesses us. We can go on and on. Jesus put it best when He said that God is our Father. This is what we are called to believe and receive by faith. The ” just ” shall live by faith. Living by faith; knowing that God is our Father gives us peace. Thank you Jesus for revealing that God is our Father. Thank you for your peace. Amen

PSALM 78 Shout it from the housetops
Psa 78:7-8  that they might set their hope in God,  and not forget God’s deeds,  but keep his commandments, 8 and might not be as their fathers,  a stubborn and rebellious generation,  a generation that didn’t make their hearts loyal,  whose spirit was not steadfast with God.

The Psalmist first is telling us how important it is to pay attention to God’s Word, His covenant and instructions.   It’s important to tell our children of God’s marvelous deeds.

Psa 78:11-13 They forgot his doings,  his wondrous deeds that he had shown them. 12 He did marvelous things in the sight of their fathers,  in the land of Egypt, in the field of Zoan. 13 He split the sea, and caused them to pass through.  He made the waters stand as a heap.

Now the Psalmist is stating some of God’s wondrous deeds that they had forgotten all about.

Dear Jesus!  You have displayed great and mighty works that revealed that You were the Messiah and how much God loves us.   Your Word has been spread throughout the world and yet many still haven’t come to believe.   It seems that we must personally tell others of how You touched our lives and set us free.  It took me a long time to learn about Your Amazing Grace but now I can never forget.  I now shout it from the housetops, Jesus is the Savior of the world.  Receive Him into your heart and He will give you everlasting life.   Now we pray.   ‘The LORD bless you, and keep you. The LORD make his face to shine on you, and be gracious to you. The LORD lift up his face towards you, and give you peace.’  In Jesus’s name Amen!    Shalom 2U

PSALM 79  Salvation comes from the LORD
Psa 79:4-5 WEB 4 We have become a reproach to our neighbors,  a scoffing and derision to those who are around us. 5 How long, Yahweh?  Will you be angry forever?  Will your jealousy burn like fire?

The nation of Israel is going through a lot of persecution back then and even now.   Wars don’t make much sense.  You have to see it from a spiritual perspective.   It’s all about the kingdom of darkness fighting against the Kingdom of God.   As long as mankind has free will, this battle will go on.   Here the children of Israel have forsaken God and so God is not with them and they suffer defeat.  Now in this present time of history, we have seen the children of Israel come out of captivity and back into the Promise Land.

Psa 79:9 WEB Help us, God of our salvation, for the glory of your name.  Deliver us, and forgive our sins, for your name’s sake.

Psa 79:13 WEB So we, your people and sheep of your pasture,  will give you thanks forever.  We will praise you forever, to all generations.

Dear Jesus!   You were persecuted for doing good.  All because the devil didn’t want to give up his kingdom.  Many of Your followers suffer for the same reason but some because of not following You.   We thank You for using Your power and the power of the Holy Spirit to bring us back to You and fight the spiritual battles for Your Kingdom.   We pray for the peace of Jerusalem and peace on earth, goodwill to all.   Shalom!  Shalom!  Peace in Jesus name Amen.   Shalom 2U

PSALM 80 God Revive ‘s
Psa 80:17- Let your hand be on the man of your right hand,  on the son of man whom you made strong for yourself. 18 So we will not turn away from you.  Revive us, and we will call on your name. 19 Turn us again, Yahweh God of Armies.  Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved.

The Psalm starts with the people crying out to God for help.   This seems to be a pattern throughout their existence.   It’s a pattern for American and many other nations.   We seek God during trouble times and then turn away when times are good.  It keeps repeating, time and time again.   At the end of the Psalm,  it talks about God sending His Son,  His right hand,  the Son of man to Revive us.

Dear Jesus!  We have come to know You in many different ways.  You are the Son of God and the Son of man.  You are the One who saves,  redeems, restores, and revives us.  We were dead in our sins but You gave us life again.  We thank You for this Great Revival that will bring many back to life.   Cause Your face to shine on them we pray.  ‘The LORD bless you, and keep you. The LORD make his face to shine on you, and be gracious to you. The LORD lift up his face towards you, and give you peace.’ In Jesus’s name Amen! Numbers 6:24‭-‬26. Shalom 2U

PSALM 81 Only One God
This Psalm begins with how we should praise the Lord with all our hearts.

Psalm 81:1  Sing aloud to God, our strength!  Make a joyful shout to the God of Jacob!

Then it goes on declaring that there is only one God and not to worship any other.

Psalm 81:8- “Hear, my people, and I will testify to you,  Israel, if you would listen to me! 9 There shall be no strange god in you,  neither shall you worship any foreign god. 10 I am Yahweh, your God,  who brought you up out of the land of Egypt.  Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.

But like many humans,  they forget God and put other things above God.   Now God is not with them,  to bless and protect them.

Psa 81:11-12  But my people didn’t listen to my voice.  Israel desired none of me. 12 So I let them go after the stubbornness of their hearts,  that they might walk in their own counsels.

Dear Jesus!  You surrendered everything to our Father so that His will would be done.  It is Your will also that we would be one with You as You are with our Father.  As we abide in You,  You give us abundant life.  We shall praise You for all that You have done for us.   You are our Savior and the Saviour of the world.   May Your saving Grace go out to all and praise Your holy name.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s love, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus name Amen.  2 Corinthians 13:14  Shalom 2U

PSALM 82  Jesus the Just Judge
Psalm 82:1-4 God is in the meeting-place of God; he is judging among the gods. 2 How long will you go on judging falsely, having respect for the persons of evil-doers? (Selah.) 3 Give ear to the cause of the poor and the children without fathers; let those who are troubled and in need have their rights. 4 Be the savior of the poor and those who have nothing: take them out of the hand of the evil-doers.

God isn’t speaking to the children of men in the flesh but the children of God in the Spirit.  He is telling us to judge rightly and not support evildoers.   I believe that we have this problem in the world today.  There are too many leaders that give a good talk and look real nice but are fighting against God’s will.   They say that they support human rights but are for killing the unborn.  There are many issues in life that seem good until you listen to the other side.   God wants us to be the savior of the poor.   There are many churches and ministries that proclaim the Good News and help the poor.  God is pleased when we support them.

Dear Jesus!  You are full of love and wisdom.  There were many times that the self righteous came against You.   They would condemn You for healing the sick on the Sabbath.  You showed us that Grace and Love exceed the law.   There are many trying to keep the Law but it’s only by Your Amazing Grace that we can do the will of God.   May Your Grace fall on them.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s love, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus name Amen.   2 Corinthians 13:14 Shalom 2U

PSALM  83 God confounds our enemies
Psa 83:15- so pursue them with your tempest,  and terrify them with your storm. 16 Fill their faces with confusion,  that they may seek your name, Yahweh. 17 Let them be disappointed and dismayed forever.  Yes, let them be confounded and perish; 18 that they may know that you alone, whose name is Yahweh,  are the Most High over all the earth.

The Psalmist is pleading with God not to be silent.  God seems to be silent too often in our lives.  I guess that He wants to make sure that our hope is in Him alone.   The Psalmist wants the enemy to be disappointed, dismayed and confounded so that they may know that Yahweh is the most High God.

Dear Jesus!  We look to You and You alone, for only in You is there Salvation.  Acts 4:12 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given amongst men, by which we must be saved!”      We pray that as the devil tries to destroy those that put their trust in You; that You will bring us victory.  May the enemy be confounded by what they see and hear when someone receives Your Amazing Grace. May they all come to believe that You are the Savior of the world.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s love, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus name Amen.   2 Corinthians 13:14    Shalom 2U

PSALM 84 Bless dwelling in the LORD
Psalm 84:1 How lovely are your dwelling places,   LORD of the Heavenly Armies.   … 4 How happy are those who live in your Temple,   for they can praise you continuously.   Interlude 5 How happy are those whose strength is in you,   whose heart is on your path…… 7  They go from strength to strength. Everyone of them appears before God in Zion…..   11 For the LORD God is a sun and a shield. The LORD will give grace and glory. He withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly. 12 LORD of hosts, Blessed is the man who trusts in you.

Dear Jesus!  Again Your ways are higher than our ways.  No one could ever imagine the Son of God would sacrifice His life so that we could dwell in Your presence.   As the Psalmist declares,  dwelling in You is a lovely place.   In You we can receive strength to be a overcomer.  Your dwelling is a place of light that keeps us walking in the right path.   Your presence is a shield, a fortress which protects us from the power of the enemy. In You we receive unlimited grace to act like a child of God.   Trusting in You is being blessed beyond measure.   We pray that the Holy Spirit will continue to draw the lost into Your dwelling place.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s love, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus name Amen.
2 Corinthians 13:14.    Shalom 2U

PSALM 85 Jesus gives us mercy, truth, righteousness & peace
Psalm 85 Won’t you revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you? 7 Show us your loving kindness, LORD. Grant us your salvation. 8 I will hear what God, the LORD, will speak, for he will speak peace to his people, his faithful ones; but let them not turn again to folly. 9 Surely his salvation is near those who fear him, that glory may dwell in our land. 10 Mercy and truth meet together. Righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

Again the people of God have turned away from God.  They are seeking after the gods of this world.  They had forgotten the blessings of God; how He has protected them and provided all their needs. Now they are in desperate need and so they turn back to God.

Dear Jesus!   Our hearts can easily wander from the goodness of God.  We can easily think that we can do it on our own.  As the song goes: I did it my way.   We thank You Lord for picking us up when we fall.  You restore us to Yourself where there is mercy,  trust,  righteousness,  and peace.   We pray that You continue to restore the fallen with Your Amazing Grace.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s love, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus name Amen.  2 Corinthians 13:14  Shalom 2U

PSALM 86 Great & Wonderful is our God
Psalm 86:4- Bring joy to the soul of your servant, for to you, Lord, do I lift up my soul. 5 For you, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive; abundant in loving kindness to all those who call on you. 6 Hear, LORD, my prayer. Listen to the voice of my petitions. 7 In the day of my trouble I will call on you, for you will answer me. 8 There is no one like you among the gods, Lord, nor any deeds like your deeds. 9 All nations you have made will come and worship before you, Lord. They shall glorify your name. 10 For you are great, and do wondrous things. You are God alone.

The Psalmist praises God for He is always ready to forgive.   He also petitions God for help.  He declares that there is no God like God and all the nations will come and worship Him.

Dear Jesus!  You are the same yesterday,  today,  and forevermore.   We all go through times of trouble but You are always there to bring us through.  You are always forgiven which brings joy to our souls.   Great and marvelous are Your ways.  We pray now that You would reveal to all the earth,  Your great love and light.  Let all the nations be filled with Your marvelous works and come to praise and worship You.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s love, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus name Amen.  2 Corinthians 13:14. Shalom 2U

PSALM 88 Jesus our Redeemer
Psa 88:1- Yahweh, the God of my salvation,  I have cried day and night before you. 2 Let my prayer enter into your presence.  Turn your ear to my cry. 3 For my soul is full of troubles.  My life draws near to Sheol. 4 I am counted among those who go down into the pit.  I am like a man who has no help,…….    7 Your wrath lies heavily on me.  You have afflicted me with all your waves.  Selah. 8 You have taken my friends from me.  You have made me an abomination to them.  I am confined, and I can’t escape.

Dear Jesus!   The price that You paid to redeem us is unfathomable.  You are the Son of God,  God’s beloved Son in whom God was well pleased.  You suffered the wrath of God not because of Your sins but because of ours.  There is no greater love than Yours.  You laid down Your life for us.  You suffered so much for us,  all so that we could receive Your Amazing Grace.   We pray that many more would believe how You redeemed us.  How You saved us for You are the Savior of the world.  The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s love, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’ name Amen.
2 Corinthians 13:14.   Shalom 2U

PSALM 89 A New Covenant
Psalm 89:3- “I have made a covenant with my chosen one, I have sworn to David, my servant, 4 ‘I will establish your offspring forever, and build up your throne for all generations.’” Selah.      This Psalm talks about King David in the natural but also about Jesus in the supernatural.

Psa 89:9  You rule the pride of the sea. When its waves rise up, you calm them.      I believe that this is one of many verses that told Jesus what He could do.  So when the storm arose, He commanded it to be still.

Psalm 89:14  Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne. Loving kindness and truth go before your face.    Through Jesus’ sacrifice,  we receive the free gift of righteousness.   Since He was judged on our behalf,  justice has been served.

Psalm 89:26-He will call to me, ‘You are my Father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.’ 27 I will also appoint him my firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth.    When Jesus was here on earth,  He always referred to God as Father.   God has declared Him as His firstborn and King of the earth.

Psa 89:29  And I will establish his descendants forever, and his throne as the days of heaven.    We are descendants of Jesus and have the Covenant of Grace in Him.   It goes on to say,  if we break His law or commandments:  32 then I will punish their sin with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes. 33 But I will not completely take my loving kindness from him, nor allow my faithfulness to fail. 34 I will not break my covenant, nor alter what my lips have uttered.

This is where we have to rightly divide the Word.

Dear Jesus!   You have established a New Covenant.   You have fulfilled the Law and paid the price for us.  You took the rod for our sins.  You took the stripes for our iniquities.   Now we are under grace and not the Law.  Now because of our faith in You, God has condemned sin in the flesh. Rom 8:3  For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh.  When we receive Your gift of righteousness, we are declared clean. We pray for those who are under condemnation because they haven’t received Your Amazing Grace.    The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s love, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’ name Amen.  2 Corinthians 13:14.     Shalom 2U

PSALM 90 Favor of the Lord
Psa 90:11- Who knows the power of your anger, your wrath according to the fear that is due to you? 12 So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. 13 Relent, LORD. How long? Have compassion on your servants. 14 Satisfy us in the morning with your loving kindness, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days. 15 Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us, for as many years as we have seen evil. 16 Let your work appear to your servants; your glory to their children. 17 Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; establish the work of our hands for us; yes, establish the work of our hands.

The Psalm begins with how a thousand years is like a day and man’s life is very short.  God’s wrath is on the wicked.  Then it goes on with mankind pleading with God to satisfy us with Your kindness,  make our days glad, and let Your favor be on us.

Dear Jesus!   Time and time again we are reminded of all the wonderful things that You did for us,  by Your sacrifice.  You allowed us to return to the Father.  Your mercy and kindness have made our hearts full of joy.  Because we are righteous in You, we have the favor of God.  Psalms 5:12 For you will bless the righteous. LORD, you will surround him with favor as with a shield.  May Your Grace continue to cleanse the unrighteous so that Your favor will fall on them.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s love, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’ name Amen.  2 Corinthians 13:14       Shalom 2U

PSALM 91:1 Jesus is our Secret Place
Psalm 91:1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of Shaddai.

    “IN CHRIST JESUS “

John 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abides in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man loves me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Heb 11:6  But without faith, it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Psalm 32:7 Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.

Dear Jesus!   We thank You for inviting us into the secret place.   In You we are protected, loved, and find grace and mercy.  In You, we rest and have Shalom/ Peace.    May Your rest and Peace be on our family, friends, country, and the world.   “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest, in Jesus’ name Amen!     Shalom 2U

PSALM 91:2-5.  Jesus our refuge & fortress
Psa 91:2-5  I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.”   (He is speaking to himself

Math 9: For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.  Psalm 23 & Psalm 103:1-5  Declare it  We believe, we declare, and then the Holy Spirit quickens: makes it become.)

5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; ( 2Ti 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power,  love, and of a sound mind. )

Dear Jesus!   When we declare who You are to us, what You have done for us: then the Holy Spirit will give life to the Words we speak.  It shall not return void.   You are the Prince of Shalom/ Peace.   We declare Shalom/ Peace on earth and goodwill to all in Jesus’s name Amen!   Shalom 2U

PSALM 91:7-12 Jesus is our Dwelling Place
Psalm 91:7-12 A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it will not come near you. 8 You will only look with your eyes, and see the recompense of the wicked. 9 Because you have made the LORD, my refuge,  the Most High, your dwelling place, 10 no evil shall overtake you; no plague shall come near your dwelling. 11 For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. 12 In their hands they will lift you up, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.

A thousand fall, ten thousand fall.

Why not you?  Because we are in the secret place- IN CHRIST JESUS.

GAL. 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

Psalm 103:20. Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

Heb 1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

Dear Jesus!   You keep on telling us to abide in You.   As the Son of man, You continue to abide in the Father.   Thank You for praying for us to be in You as You are in the Father.   We now pray for the lost that they would come to You and enter the ” secret place ”  where they can receive protection and grace.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s love, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen. 2 Corinthians 13:14   Shalom 2U

PSALM 91:14-16 Set Your Love on Jesus
Psalm 91:14- “Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high because he has known my name. 15 He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him. 16 I will satisfy him with long life, and show him my salvation.”

Psalm 91 is a great Psalm.  It is full of great things that God wants to do for us.   The end of the Psalm  ends with a finally of great promises for us who love Jesus above all other things.

Dear Jesus!  Your love for us is overwhelming.  You sacrificed all so that we could have life,  long life here on earth, and eternal life with You in heaven.  Because of Your grace, we find favor with God and man.  We are raised up from bondage and defeat to a life of freedom and victory in Your name.   We pray that others will come to love You above all other things and receive all Your blessings.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’ name Amen.  II Corinthians 13:14. Shalom 2U

name- Father, Daddy    Jesus: Jehovah is salvation

Rom 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

John 17:26 And I have declared unto them thy name,( FATHER) and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

Psa 9:10  And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

PSALM 92. Blessings from God
Psalm 92:10-15  But you have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox. I am anointed with fresh oil. 11 My eye has also seen my enemies. My ears have heard of the wicked enemies who rise up against me. 12 The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree. He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon. 13 They are planted in the LORD’s house. They will flourish in our God’s courts. 14 They will still bring forth fruit in old age. They will be full of sap and green, 15 to show that the LORD is upright. He is my Rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

It begins by telling us that we should sing, worship, and declare the goodness of God.   God wants to bless those that declare His name and goodness.   Here it tells us that God wants to increase our power of influence for His glory.  All that we put our hands to should flourish.  Even in our old age, God wants our lives to be full of energy and life.

Dear Jesus!   You came that we might have life and life more abundantly.   In You, we are kings and priests.  In Your name, we can fight against the kingdom of darkness.  In Your name,  we can declare Your blessings on the needy.  Thank You for bringing us into Your Kingdom.   Now we declare Your Word.  To the darkness in the world: “Light Be “.  To the turmoil in the world: “Shalom Shalom Peace on earth goodwill to all in Jesus’s name.   To the blind – see, deaf  – hear,  lame – walk, unclean – be clean, and to the captives – thou are set free in Jesus’ name.   All glory to Jesus, the King of kings.  Amen!   Shalom 2U

PSALM 93 The Lord Reigns!
Psalm 93:1-5 The LORD reigns! He is robed in majesty, the LORD is robed, he wears strength around his waist. Indeed, the world is established, it cannot be moved. 2 Your throne has been secure from ancient times; you have always been king. 3 The waves roar, O LORD, the waves roar, the waves roar and crash. 4 Above the sound of the surging water, and the mighty waves of the sea, the LORD sits enthroned in majesty. 5 The rules you set down are completely reliable. Holiness aptly adorns your house, O LORD, forever.

The Psalm tells us how majestic the LORD is.  Those that believe in God, believe that He is all-powerful, majestic, wise, and cannot be defeated.   Both Christians and non Christians ask where is God?  Why all this darkness?  Again it’s because God has given everyone a free will.  He is coming back one day when all those that didn’t believe will experience His judgment.   Now the Church has a big problem not knowing, believing, and declaring who they are and the power and authority that has been given to each one of us.  Here is one example: “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. John 14:12.      We keep asking God to do what He has called us to do.

Dear Jesus!   Right before those words that tell us that we should be doing greater works,  You told us that it’s the Father in You that does the work.  We come to believe that You are in us and it’s You doing the work.  Now we declare Your will and believe that You will make it come to pass.   In Jesus name, we command that the blind see, deaf hear ,lame walk, unclean be made clean, and the captives set free.   Shalom Shalom/ Peace on earth and goodwill to all.  To God be the glory Amen!   Shalom 2U

PSALM 94 The Battle is the LORD’s
Psalm 94:11-The LORD knows that peoples’ thoughts are morally bankrupt. 12 How blessed is the one whom you instruct, O LORD, the one whom you teach from your law, 13 in order to protect him from times of trouble, until the wicked are destroyed. 14 Certainly the LORD does not forsake his people; he does not abandon the nation that belongs to him.  ……..    21 They conspire against the blameless, and condemn to death the innocent. 22 But the LORD will protect me, and my God will shelter me. 23 He will pay them back for their sin. He will destroy them because of their evil; the LORD our God will destroy them.

It seems that all the nations of the world are under attack by morally bankrupt leaders.   Some leaders appear good but so does the devil.  2 Corinthians 11:13‭-‬14 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.   We constantly have to seek God for wisdom and examine the results of their actions.  I hear a lot of leaders talk but no good results coming out.   It talks about how God will destroy these evil leaders.   I have been hearing that God is going to do a great deliverance for the Christian people in China.

Dear Jesus!  We aren’t as patient and loving as You.  We would have destroyed the wicked long ago.  Your wish is that all would be saved and come to Your saving Grace.   We pray that You would protect Your children and bless the wicket with Your Amazing Grace.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’ name Amen.  II Corinthians 13:14.    Shalom 2U

PSALM 95. Oh Come Let Us Adore Him

Psalm 95:1- Come! Let’s sing for joy to the LORD! Let’s shout out praises to our protector who delivers us! 2 Let’s enter his presence with thanksgiving! Let’s shout out to him in celebration! 3 For the LORD is a great God, a great king who is superior to all gods.

There are many things in our lives that we shout out with praise.  God should be on the top of that list.

Psalm 95:10- For forty years I was continually disgusted with that generation, and I said, ‘These people desire to go astray; they do not obey my commands.’ 11 So I made a vow in my anger, ‘They will never enter into the resting place I had set aside for them.’”

There seem to be a lot of things that we should do and obey, but When we do this one thing, all the other commandments will be a breeze.   God wants us to come to Him and enter His rest.       Dear Jesus!   We  remember the story about Martha and Mary.   You said that Mary chose the better part.  Mary just rested in Your presence.   Each day we come to You and You fill us up with Your love and grace so that we would bore fruit for Your honor and glory.   We pray for others to come to You and find rest.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’ name Amen!  II Corinthians 13:14  Shalom 2U

Psa 95:10 KJV Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:

We are told that God made us to know, love and serve Him. Knowing God has to come first and yet it is a continual process. We learn that there is only 1 God but 3 Divine persons. Knowing God is believing that He is divine.
Isa 55:9 KJV For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Here we see that His ways are far above our ways. The more we know God , the more we can see and believe. We have to get it from our natural mind into our soul. Then we can start believing in His ways. It grieves God when we don’t believe in Him.   It’s like a natural father knows that his children love him but they don’t always believe in him: that he knows what is best for them.   They don’t trust him to be able to help them.   This is true of natural fathers,  but we are taking about our heavenly Father in whom nothing is impossible.   And so He is grieved when we fail to believe in Him.
Heb 11:6 KJV But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.    God rewards us when we diligently seek Him.   That requires a commitment.   To really know and believe we must diligently seek Him and then God will reward us.   Then we will be able to declare by faith the things that we need, that Jesus has already done on the cross.
Thank you Jesus for your sacrifice that allows us to become like you (
1Jn 4:17 KJV Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. )   and declare your will and victory over all the powers of darkness.   To God be the glory and honor and power.  Amen

PSALM 96 Glory to God
Psa 96:1- Sing to the LORD a new song! Sing to the LORD, all the earth! 2 Sing to the LORD! Praise his name! Announce every day how he delivers! 3 Tell the nations about his splendor! Tell all the nations about his amazing deeds! 4 For the LORD is great and certainly worthy of praise; he is more awesome than all gods.

It seems that there are a lot of Psalm that tells us to praise the Lord.   As I have said many times before, praise and worship is the primary way to show God that we really believe in Him.

Dear Jesus!   You are worthy of all praise.  I am amazed at how many songs have been written about You.  Every generation has come out praising You.  It’s so easy to worship You all day long.   ” Thank You, Jesus ” is one of my favorite today.  We can never thank You enough for saving us.  We thank You now for Your saving Grace on the lost as We declare Your blessings on them.       “The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” ’ In Jesus’s name Amen!  Numbers 6:24‭-‬26    Shalom 2U

PSALM 97 The Lord Reigns
Psalm 97:1  The LORD reigns! Let the earth be happy! Let the many coastlands rejoice!

The Lord reigns: He is the king of kings. What He degrees is His will. When we are “born again “: we become like Him because we are ” in Him”. We are now authorized to execute His will. This is where most Christians are failing. We ask God to do something that He has already done by Jesus’ sacrifice. Now He wants us to take the authority given to us and reign in life by the power of His word.

For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)

Romans 5:17 For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)   We don’t fight against flesh and blood,  We pray for them.  We come against the evil spirit that is controlling them.

Psalm 97:10-12 You who love the LORD, hate evil! He protects the lives of his faithful followers; he delivers them from the power of the wicked. 11 The godly bask in the light; the morally upright experience joy. 12 You godly ones, rejoice in the LORD! Give thanks to his holy name.

Dear Jesus!  I’m reminded of the song, OH how I love Jesus.  Oh how I love Jesus, because He first loved me.   It is Your love for us that gives us life and enables us to love You and our neighbors as ourselves.   We pray that You pour Your love on the lost.       The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all  in Jesus’ name Amen! II Corinthians 13:14. Shalom 2U

PSALM 98  Sing to the LORD
Psa 98:1- Sing to the LORD a new song, for he performs amazing deeds! His right hand and his mighty arm accomplish deliverance. 2 The LORD demonstrates his power to deliver; in the sight of the nations he reveals his justice. 3 He remains loyal and faithful to the family of Israel. All the ends of the earth see our God deliver us. 4 Shout out praises to the LORD, all the earth! Break out in a joyful shout and sing!

It says that God remains faithful to deliver Israel.   I’m old enough to remember and have read how God delivered Israel in 1967, the six days war.  Israel was greatly outnumbered but greatly defeated those who came against them.  There are numerous reports of God miraculously delivering them.  A lot of people don’t believe in evil Spirits but this is one example.   When all these countries are coming against little Israel, it’s only because they are being controlled by an evil spirit.

Dear Jesus!   By Your sacrifice and faith in You, we have been set free.  We were controlled by the kingdom of darkness, but You delivered us and now we are free.  We rejoice continually at the work of Your hands and Your Amazing Grace.   There are still many that need to be set free and so we pray for them.   We command that the blind see, deaf hear, lame walk, unclean be made clean, and the captives set free in Jesus name.  Now may The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus name Amen.    Shalom 2U

Note: His right hand and Holy arm are symbolic of Jesus; who sits at the right hand of the Father God.

PSALM 99 The LORD is Holy
Psalm 99:1-3  The LORD reigns! The nations tremble. He sits enthroned above the winged angels; the earth shakes. 2 The LORD is elevated in Zion; he is exalted over all the nations. 3 Let them praise your great and awesome name! He is holy!,… 9 Praise the LORD our God! Worship on his holy hill, for the LORD our God is holy!

The Psalm declares the Holiness of God.   Throughout the Bible, we see His holiness being proclaimed. Isaiah 6:3 And one cried to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!”

We  come to have a reverential fear of God.   It’s no wonder when we read that those that touched the Ark accidentally, died.  Yes God is very Holy.

Dear Jesus!   Again we are in wonder by Your great sacrifice.   In You,  we have been made holy.  1 Corinthians 1:30-‬31 But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption— that, as it is written, “He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.”       We do give You all the honor and glory.   As Your Word declares, we can now come boldly into the Throne of Grace. Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.   Glory!  Glory!  Glory to the Lamb.   We pray for the lost to receive Your holiness.      The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus name Amen.     Shalom 2U

PSALM 100 Thanksgiving & Praise
Psa 100:3- Acknowledge that the LORD is God! He made us and we belong to him; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give him thanks! Praise his name! 5 For the LORD is good. His loyal love endures, and he is faithful through all generations.

A lot of people want God to be present in their lives.  We hear it a lot of times.  God be with me and I need Your help.  God is always with us.  The question is are we in His presence?  It takes spiritual effort to be in the presence of God.    Psalm 63:1-5   God, you are my God. I will earnestly seek you. My soul thirsts for you. My flesh longs for you, in a dry and weary land, where there is no water.

It talks about earnestly seeking God.  To be in God’s presence, we must earnestly seek Him.

Dear Jesus!   We are overwhelmed by how much You want us to be in the presence of God.  The Father sent You, His only beloved Son to save us from our sins. You  make us righteous in You, and now we can come boldly into the Throne of Grace.  Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.  Thank You for Your sacrifice and bringing us into Your presence.   We pray for Your Grace that others will come to You. 2 Corinthians 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus name Amen.   Shalom 2U

PSALM 101  God’s Mercy & Justice
Psalm 101:1 I will sing of loving kindness and justice. To you, LORD, I will sing praises….   6 My eyes will be on the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me. He who walks in a perfect way, he will serve me. 7 He who practices deceit won’t dwell within my house. He who speaks falsehood won’t be established before my eyes. 8 Morning by morning, I will destroy all the wicked of the land; to cut off all evildoers from the LORD’s city.

The Psalm declares that only those that are true of heart and faithful will dwell with the Lord.   Thank God for the New Covenant!

Dear Jesus!   Again we see the holy and just requirements of the Law.   You know that we could never meet those requirements on our own.   Only by being faithful in abiding in You, could we meet these stringent requirements.  Your sacrifice made the way for us to receive them.  Romans 8:3‭-‬4 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.    We pray that the lost would receive Your mercy and justice and start abiding in You.      The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus name Amen.  II Corinthians 13:14  Shalom 2U

PSALM 102 The Time has Come
Psalm 102:13-21  You will arise and have mercy on Zion; for it is time to have pity on her. Yes, the set time has come. 14 For your servants take pleasure in her stones, and have pity on her dust. 15 So the nations will fear the name of the LORD; all the kings of the earth your glory. 16 For the LORD has built up Zion. He has appeared in his glory. 17 He has responded to the prayer of the destitute and has not despised their prayer. 18 This will be written for the generation to come, that a people yet to be created may praise the LORD. 19 For he has looked down from the height of his sanctuary. From heaven, the LORD looked at the earth; 20 to hear the groans of the prisoner; to free those who are condemned to death; 21 that men may declare the name of the LORD in Zion and his praise in Jerusalem;

As I meditated on this Psalm,  the words: ” the set time has come ” jumped out into my soul.   I’m not a prophet but I do feel that the time is now.  I know that God’s time seems to be longer than ours.  Nonetheless, we are living in an exciting time to see God’s Glory.

Dear Jesus! For many years You have been blessing the Gentiles.  You have poured out Your Love and Grace on us to come to You.  You haven’t forgotten Your covenant with Abraham.  You have brought them back into the Promise Land.  You have protected them from their enemies.  Now, Lord we pray for the Peace of Israel.  Not only from their enemies but that they would receive Your Peace that passes understanding. Shalom Shalom Israel! The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” ’In Jesus’s name Amen!  Numbers 6:24‭-‬26.    Shalom 2U

PSALM 103 Bless The Lord
Psalm 103:1-  Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. 2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; 4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; 5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

This Psalm is one of my favorites.  I declare it every day.   This is a good Psalm that will challenge your faith.  I have read it many times but when I started to meditate on it,  I was challenged to really believe these words.  One can not go by human reasoning or knowledge but only by faith.  We have to be like Abraham: Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all (as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did; who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.”  Romans 4:16‭-‬18 Abraham kept on declaring who God said he was and then it came to be.

        Dear Jesus!   You are the Word that became flesh.   We are called to believe in You and to believe in Your Word.  Since You are the author and finisher of our faith, we look to You for the grace to believe. Hebrews 12:2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.  Although it doesn’t make sense to our human intellect, we shall declare all Your benefits. (Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;

Proverbs 3:5 ) You  forgiveth all thine iniquities. You healeth all thy diseases.  You redeemeth our life from destruction. You crowneth us with lovingkindness and tender mercies. You satisfieth our mouth with good things; so that our youth is renewed like the eagle’s.   Thank You Jesus for Your Grace.    We pray for Your Grace for those that have a hard time believing. The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus name Amen.  II Corinthians 13:14  Shalom 2U

PSALM 104 GOD Creates & Renews
Psa 104:1 Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honor and majesty.    v24 O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.   v30. Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.    v33 I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. 34 My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD. 35 Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the LORD, O my soul. Praise ye the LORD.

There are too many people praising the earth and all its beauty instead of God the Creator of all good things.   They praise “mother nature “.  It’s no wonder that we experience so many natural disasters in the world.   If the people of the world would give God the Glory, we wouldn’t experience so many disasters.  I like verse 32.  It talks about the Holy Spirit renewing the face of the earth.   The Holy Spirit has the power and it is God’s will for all things to be renewed.   Some things are naturally renewed like the air we breathe.  Some things are renewed by the Holy Spirit, when we declare God’s Word.

Dear Jesus!   You went about as the Son of man decorating God’s Word and the Holy Spirit made it come to pass.  You declared the deaf to hear, the blind to see, the unclean to be made clean, lame to walk, and the captives to be set free.  The Holy Spirit renewed their lives, when the Spirit heard Your Words.   As we declare Your Words, may the Holy Spirit bring it to pass.   We command that the blind see, deaf hear, lame walk, unclean be made clean, and the captives set free in Jesus name Amen.   To God be the glory Amen!   shalom 2U

PSALM 105 Remember His Marvelous Deeds
Psalm 105:1-3  O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people. 2 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works. 3 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.

Dear Jesus!   May we never forget Your marvelous deeds.  Your sacrifice accomplished all that we could not do.  We were captives in the kingdom of darkness but You set us free.  We give You praise Jesus, our great deliverer!  We were in darkness, blind and could not see.  We praise You Jesus!  You declared that the blind to see and we saw You in all Your Glory.  We were starving, undernourished but You feed us the Bread of Life.  Glory be to God!  We were poor but You became poor so that we can become rich. May we always remember to honor You with all that You have given us.   We were overcome by fear but Your perfect love casts out all our fears.  Glory to the Lamb!   We were weak but now we are strong in You.  We are more than conquerors in Christ Jesus.  We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.  Praise to Jesus, our Mighty Lord.   We were like dead men walking but You breathe life into us. Now we are “born again “, a New Creation in the image and likeness of God.  We were just ordinary people but You made us a Child of God.  We pray that all would hear of Your Marvelous Deeds.      The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus name Amen. II Corinthians 13:14.      Shalom 2U

PSALM 106. Visit us with Your Salvation
Psalm 106:1- Praise the LORD. Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever. 2 Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD, or fully declare all his praise? 3 Blessed are those who uphold justice, who practice righteousness at all times. 4 Remember me, LORD, with the favor that you show to your people. Visit me with your salvation,

The Psalm begins with praise and thanksgiving to the LORD.   It tells how one is blessed when one seeks God and His ways.   They can experience favor and salvation.   This is what God wants to do for us, to bless and save.   Unfortunately, it goes on about how the people forgot God’s ways and His mighty deeds.  They started walking after the flesh instead of the Spirit.   Instead of destroying the evil in the land, they became partakers with them.  This resulted in much hardship instead of blessings.

Dear Jesus!  You are the “Light of the world ” and in You, we should be manifesting Your Light.   We like our ancestors, have turned away from You and kept company with the unrighteous.  Visit us once again with Your salvation.   We thank You that You are bringing us back to life, back to Your Amazing Grace.  We declare Your grace to all.    The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’ name Amen.   II Corinthians 13:14.   Shalom 2U

PSALM 107.  We are the Redeemed of the Lord
Psalm 107:1- Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever. 2 Let the redeemed by the LORD say so, whom he has redeemed from the hand of the adversary,

God is Holy, righteous, all mighty but His mercy endures forever. All God wants is for us to acknowledge that we are not righteous on our own and that we need a Savior. When we believe in Jesus, He gives us His righteousness so that we can come boldly to the throne of grace.

Declare, speak out that you are redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. Redeemed from the curse of the law. Redeemed from the power of sin and satan.

Psa 107:6  Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses,

When we cry out to the Lord, we want to cry out in faith, not in disbelief. We cry out declaring God’s word: His promises. This is using the sword of the Spirit. It will come against the devil and call upon the angels of God to harken to the voice of His word.

v4    The Psalm goes on saying how bad things happen when we depart from God’s Word.  It’s not that God wants to punish us but these things make us humble so that we would cry out to God to save us.

Dear Jesus!   You are the Savior of the world.  You are our Redeemer.  We are Redeemed by Your precious blood.  When we cried out to You to save us,  You redeemed us and gave us life in You.  You came that we might have life and life more abundantly.   Thank You, Jesus!   We pray that Your Amazing Grace will fall on the lost and be redeemed by Your blood.      The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’ name Amen.  II Corinthians 13:14. Shalom 2U

PSALM 108  Praise God & He will give us victory
Psalm 108:1- My heart is steadfast, God. I will sing and I will make music with my soul. 2 Wake up, harp and lyre. I will wake up the dawn. 3 I will give thanks to you, LORD, among the nations. I will sing praises to you among the peoples. 4 For your loving kindness is great above the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the skies. 5 Be exalted, God, above the heavens. Let your glory be over all the earth.   …    12 Give us help against the enemy, for the help of man is vain. 13 Through God, we will do valiantly. For it is he who will trample down our enemies.

David said these words when he was the King and everyone was given him praise. David in all his glory wasn’t too proud not to give God the glory and worship Him. No matter how much the Lord blesses us, we must remain humble and worship Him. This is why our country is in such turmoil. God has blessed us and yet most don’t believe in Him and give Him the honor and glory that belongs to Him. God is raising up the Body of Christ to praise and worship Him.

Dear Jesus!  You are the Savior of the world, the King of kings!   As we give You all the honor and glory,  You give us abundant life.  You make us more than conquerors that enable us to defeat the kingdom of darkness.   In the all-powerful, all-victorious, the name above all names; the name of Jesus:  Shalom Shalom Peace on earth and goodwill to all.   To God be the glory! Amen!   Shalom 2U

Psalm 109. God delivers the Needy & Poor in Spirit
Psalm 109:1  God of my praise, do not remain silent,    There are many times that God is silent but we must continue to declare His promises to us.

Psalm 109:5 They have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.    This happened to Jesus and it happens to the children of God.

Psalm 109:8 Let his days be few. Let another take his office.  This is a refering about Judas, who betrayed Jesus.

Psa 109:16  because he did not remember to show kindness, but persecuted the poor and needy man, the broken in heart, to kill them.   Note:  In the end, all the evil that he did will fall back on him.

Psalm 109:21 But deal with me, the LORD the Lord, for your name’s sake, because your loving kindness is good, deliver me;  Note: As we continue to trust in the LORD, we will be delivered.

Psalm 109:30- I will give great thanks to the LORD with my mouth. Yes, I will praise him among the multitude. 31 For he will stand at the right hand of the needy, to save him from those who judge his soul.  Note: It is the devil that comes against us, but He uses human beings.  Fight the evil spirit, not flesh and blood.

Psalm 109:21- But deal with me, the LORD the Lord, for your name’s sake, because your loving kindness is good, deliver me; 22 for I am poor and needy. My heart is wounded within me.   Note: A poor and needy person is a humble person.  He actually might be very rich and have everything that money can buy; but He still humbles himself and trusts in the God of his salvation.

Dear Jesus! You are always a great example for us to follow.  No one was more persecuted for doing good than You.   There are many in the world today that are being persecuted for trying to do Your will.  The enemy seems to be relentless.  They don’t give up.  You want us to be relentless in declaring Your Kingdom.   We pray: Our Father, who is in heaven, all praise to Your name.  Thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Shalom! Shalom!  Peace on earth and goodwill to all In Jesus’ name Amen!   Shalom 2U

Psalm 110 The Lord is resting
Psalm 110:1- The LORD says to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.” 2 The LORD will send forth the rod of your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of your enemies……

The LORD- Yahweh says to my Lord- the lord God- referring to Jesus.  Jesus, the Son of God is sitting at the right hand of Father God.  ( If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Colossians 3:1 )  ( Jesus said, “I am. And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.”Mark 14:62 )  Why is Jesus sitting?  Isn’t there a lot of work to be done?   When Jesus died on the cross,  he declares it is finished.

4 The LORD has sworn, and will not change his mind: “You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.”

Jesus is not only a priest,  He is our High Priest.   He is also a King of kings.   We are a royal priesthood. ( But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;I Peter 2:9 )  Jesus is resting but We are supposed to be acting as Kings and priests declaring the Kingdom of God.   As Kings we fight against the kingdom of darkness.  As priests, we intercede and pray for people.

Dear Jesus!  Your sacrifice was great and that’s why Your name is above all other names. ( Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name,  Philippians 2:9 )  You gave us Your name and authority to do Your will and defeat the works of the devil.   In the Almighty name of Jesus, we declare Shalom! Shalom! Peace on earth and goodwill to all.  To God be the glory Amen!   Shalom 2U

Psalm 111 Receive God’s life given Word
Psalm 111:1 Praise ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.      Note: God is worthy of all praise. Even at Church we are reluctant to praise Him. We think that the priest and choir’s job. We all need to praise Him.

Psalm 111:2 The LORD’s deeds are great, eagerly awaited by all who desire them.    The church seems to concentrate on their works.  It’s the works of the LORD that will help us fight against the kingdom of darkness.

Psa 111:5 He gives food to his faithful followers; he always remembers his covenant.  Psa 111:5  He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.  Note: I inserted 2 different versions.  One says “food” the other says “meat”.  I see it as He gives us spiritual food, our daily bread, the Word of God.  The next difference is: faithful followers who remember His covenant.  The other says “fear ” Him which I believe should be reverence Him.  When we reverence God,  we are mindful of His covenant, His promises, and His faithfulness.  Psa 111:9  He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.

Psalm 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.   Note: Again the word ” fear” is used but I find that the more I love and reverence God, I grow in wisdom and understanding of God’s great love and mercy.

Dear Jesus! Thank You for Your Word.  We were all like lost sheep.  We were blind and couldn’t see Your Amazing Grace.  You kept calling and calling us.  You never gave up.  Finally Your love broke through and we started to see all that You did For Us.  You kept feeding us the Bread of life and as we give reverence to Your Word,  we grow in wisdom and understanding.   We pray that Your love will break through those that haven’t come to You.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus name Amen. II Corinthians 13:14.  Shalom 2U

Psalm 112 Perfect love cast out fear
Psalm 112:1- Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. 2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed. 3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.  …   7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.

Under the New Covenant, once we receive Jesus; His perfect love casts out all fear.  ( There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

I John 4:18 )  We can also delight in His commandments because the grace of God is working in us to live righteously.  Verse 2 is a promise of God but we have to know, believe and declare it.  We can’t be double minded and say the opposite.   Verse 7 tells us not to be fearful of bad news.   Our heart must be fixed on the Lord.

Dear Jesus!  Your Gospel is full of Good News but we have to keep our hearts and minds on You.   God is not a man that He should lie.   All the promises of God are Yes and Amen.   This is how You lived as the Son of man and we are called to follow You.  We praise You and Thank You for all those promises that have come to pass.   We wait patiently for those that haven’t materialized.  We pray for those that are still fearing You because they haven’t received Your perfect love.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus name Amen.   II Corinthians 13:14.   Shalom 2U

Psa 112:7 KJV He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.

We all experience evil times. It’s only by fixing our eyes on God; what He has promised us; that we will go through the trial. Too many believers are focusing on the trial instead of God. The year 2020 brought a lot of fear into people’s life. Most were focusing on the virus instead of God’s word and His promises. Our heart must be fixed on God’s promises for us. These promises are ” in Christ Jesus “. He fulfilled these promises by His sacrifice on the cross. We have a choice, either believe in what your flesh speaks to you or what the spiritual promises of God speaks to your heart. We must be like Abraham : Rom 4:17 NHEB As it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations.” This is in the presence of him whom he believed: God, who gives life to the dead, and calls the things that are not, as though they were.
Dear Jesus ! When we look to you, we are reminded of your great sacrifice for us. You have revealed your great love and how there is nothing that you wouldn’t do for us to give us abounding life and Peace. You said in : Psa 91:9-10 NHEB 9 Because you have made the LORD your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, 10 no evil shall overtake you; no plague shall come near your dwelling. You are our dwelling place, our refuge. You are our Peace , we shall not fear. Glory be to God ! SHALOM2U

Psalm 113 Bless are the poor in spirit

Psalm 113:1-Praise ye the LORD. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD. 2 Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore. 3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD’S name is to be praised.

Psalm 113:7-9 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill; 8 That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people. 9 He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORD.

A lot of people wonder where is God?   God on the other hand is looking for the humble.  He is looking for those that will humble themselves and put God first place in their lives.   Verse 7-9 brings this point out.  He raises the poor out of the dust.   It doesn’t matter if you are rich or poor in material things.  What God is looking for is a humble heart.   It goes own to say that He makes the barren woman a joyful mother.   He doesn’t do that for every barren woman but He has done for some that diligently seek Him.

Dear Jesus!  Again all we have to do is look to You.  You constantly humbled Yourself as the Son of man and lived to honor our Father.  You live to do His will no matter what the cost.  As we meditate on Your Words, we seek to honor You and do Your will.   We declare ” Light Be ” over the darkness in the world,  in Jesus’ name.  We declare a blessing on all those that are humble, trying to receive Your grace.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’ name Amen.  II Corinthians 13:14.    Shalom 2U

Psalm 114. God’s Overwhelming Presence
Psa 114:5-8  What was it, you sea, that you fled? You Jordan, that you turned back? 6 You mountains, that you skipped like rams; you little hills, like lambs? 7 Tremble, you earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob, 8 who turned the rock into a pool of water, the flint into a spring of waters.

When God set Israel free, His presence was overwhelming.  He dwelt in Judah ( Praise ). Judah was His sanctuary and Israel ( God prevails ) was His dominion.   Things that are impossible to happen, happened.

Dear Jesus!  It’s Your presence in our lives that we desire.   When we first received You into our hearts,  You did amazing things in our lives.  Our souls rejoiced at the mention of Your name.   The earth is now Your dominion, Your Kingdom.  As we praise You and declare Your name, we will go forth and bring Your Kingdom throughout the world.  Things that seem impossible will happen and the earth will be full of Your Glory.   ” Light Be “, Shalom! Shalom! Peace on earth and goodwill to all in Jesus’s name Amen!   Shalom 2U

Psalm 115. Give God the Glory

Psalm 115:1 Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake.    Note:   Always give God the glory. This is true humanity. Too many people today think that they are good and righteous but God says: there is none righteous, no not one. Only ” in Christ Jesus ” are we declared righteous.

v2.  Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God?   Note:  It’s only when we have faith in God and put Him first; that God shows up. Too often, we put our own or other people’s thoughts above God’s thoughts and ways.

v11 Ye that fears (reverence)the LORD, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.  Note:  Give God your love, heart, worship, and praise.

v16  The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD’S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.   Note: Gen 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.    So here we see that although everything belongs to God,  He gave the earth to man.

Dear Jesus!  Again as the Son of man, You showed us how man has dominion over the earth.  You gave us Your name and authority to defeat the Kingdom of darkness and declare the Kingdom of God.   As we declare who we are ” in Christ  “, we go from glory to glory. (But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:18 )You are glorified when we declare Your name.   In the Almighty, all powerful name of Jesus: Shalom/ Peace on earth goodwill to all.  To God be the glory Amen!   Shalom 2U

Psalm 116 The LORD hears our cries
Psalm 116:1- I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications. 2 Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live. 3 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow. 4 Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul. 5 Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.

It’s a marvelous experience when we know God heard our cry.  We should always remember and make note of it.  There always seems to be something that we cried out to the LORD about and now we are waiting patiently for Him to act on our behalf.   So remembering those times that He has answered our cry, helps us to continue to wait on the LORD.

Dear Jesus!   Things didn’t happen for You overnight.   You had to wait 30 years before You began Your ministry.   For 30 years, You built up a relationship with Father God and the Holy Spirit so that You knew They would hear Your prayers.  You always seek the Father’s will and that He would be glorified.  Now as we pray, we know that You hear us.  We seek to give You glory and Your will be done.  Your Kingdom come! To all that cry out to God, “The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” ’ In Jesus’s name Amen! Numbers 6:24‭-‬26.    Shalom 2U

Psalm 117 Mercy ( Grace) & Truth

Psalm 117:1-2  O praise the LORD, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people. 2 For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Praise ye the LORD.

We read in John 1:17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.    We should see here that what Jesus came to give us, is greater than what Moses gave us.   The Law is good and full of truth but Grace ( mercy) and Truth from Jesus, is much greater.   The truth of the Law has no Grace.  It depends on us by our flesh to keep its commands.

Dear Jesus!  Unlike the Law, You came not to condemn us but save us ( For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:17 )  Unlike the Old Covenant,  You came to bring a better Covenant.  The New Covenant is Good News.   It’s full of Your Grace and Truth.  It tells us about how You sacrificed for us so that we could receive Your Amazing Grace and Truth by faith in You.   You have given us Abundant Life.   Your will is that all would receive Your abundant life.   We pray:  The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’s name Amen.  II Corinthians 13:14. Shalom 2U

Psalm 118 Give Thanks & Praise God

Psalm 118:1 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever. Note:  A thankful heart goes a long way in entering into the presence of God.

Psalm 118:6  The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?  Note: Knowing and believing that God is with us, will cast off all our fears.

Psalm 118:22  The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.  When Jesus came, He was rejected by His brethren.   Today He is rejected by all who don’t put their faith in Him alone.

Psalm 118:24  This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.  Note: Faith in God requires us to be glad no matter what happens.

Dear Jesus!   When we think about You, Jesus,  we can’t help to give You praise and thanksgiving.  We worship You,  the King of kings,  the Lord of lords, and the Savior of the world.   We think about how You saved us.  You gave us life, when we were spiritually dead.  There is nothing in this life to fear because Your perfect love casts out all our fears.   We pray now for those that are dead in spirit and our fearful.   May they come to know and believe that You are the Savior of the world.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’ name Amen! 2 Corinthians 13:14.  Shalom 2U

Psalm 119  Righteous in Christ Jesus

Psa 119:1  Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the law of the LORD.   Note: Only Jesus was able to fulfill the Law.   That’s why He had to come and offer Himself as the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world.

Psa 119:29  Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously.

Note:  It’s interesting that the Psalmist ask God to remove lying from his life, ” graciously “. This is the New Covenant way that God makes us righteous. It’s not the ” law” but ” grace “. It’s all about what Jesus did for us and what we receive from Him, when we believe in Him

Psa 119:42  So shall I have wherewith to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in thy word.

Note:  This is one of many “I “.  All these ” I ” ‘s are Jesus declaring what He does or has done, that we could not.

Psa 119:48  My hands also will I lift up unto thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.    Note:  Meditate on God’s Word gives reverence to God.

Psa 119:50  This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.

Note: When we trust in God and His Word, the Holy Spirit will quicken: make come alive, that which it was sent out to do.

Psa 119:78- Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause: but I will meditate in thy precepts. 79 Let those that fear thee turn unto me, and those that have known thy testimonies.   Note: They dealt perversely to Jesus without cause.   We that reverence God come to Jesus.

Psa 119:176  I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.   Note:  This is the last verse.  All throughout the Psalm, Jesus is testifying how He loves God’s Law, precepts,  testimonies,  instruction.  Now He states that He has gone astray.

Dear Jesus!  You are perfect in all your ways.  You were faithful in keeping the Law.   You came to save us because we couldn’t keep the Law.  We were the sheep that went astray but You took our sins on the cross to redeem us.  Now that we are “in You “, we are made righteous.  We are no longer under the Law but under Grace.  Moses brought the Law but You brought Grace and Truth. John 1:17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.  We now pray for those that are still under the Law.  May they receive Your Amazing Grace and be made righteous “in You “.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’ name Amen.  II Corinthians 13:14.   Shalom 2U

Psalm 121 Who’s sleeping

Psalm:121:1- A Song of degrees. I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. 3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. 4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

The Psalmist clearly knows where to look for help.   He says that the LORD neither sleeps nor slumbers.  This is true about God but yet He doesn’t always come to one’s rescue.   Israel and the rest of the world have a bad habit of sleeping.   They don’t give God the honor and praise that He deserves.   When trouble comes,  they decide to wake up and call upon the Lord.

Dear Jesus!  Again You showed us how the Father should be honored and praised.  You lost a lot of sleep spending time with Your Father.   Nothing bad could happen to You.  That’s why You surrendered Your life so that we could receive eternal life with You.   We pray for the Body of Christ and the rest of the world.   Holy Spirit,  we pray that You will continue to bring Revival throughout the world.  Continue to bring life into our dry bones.  Fall afresh on us with Your Anointing so that we can bring forth the Kingdom of God.  In Jesus’s name Amen.     Shalom 2U

Psalm 122.   Shalom! Shalom! Peace Jerusalem

Psalm 122:6-9 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem! May those who love her prosper! 7 May there be peace inside your defenses, and prosperity inside your fortresses! 8 For the sake of my brothers and my neighbors I will say, “May there be peace in you!” 9 For the sake of the temple of the LORD our God I will pray for you to prosper.

God hasn’t forgotten Jerusalem.  For over 2,000 years,  many have come against Jerusalem.  The Israelite left God and followed after false idols.  Many other nations have done the same and so they experience hardships and demonic attacks.  God has miraculously brought them back to the Promise Land and they are under constant attack.

Dear Jesus!   You came to redeem them, the children of Abraham.   They were still looking for an earthy king and so they rejected you.   Their eyes were blind and ears were deaf to hear the Good News.   It’s still like that thought-out the world.   We pray for Jerusalem and all the nations of the world.   We pray that Your Kingdom will come and will be done on earth as it is in heaven.   We pray that all eyes will see,  all ears will hear, and all hearts receive Your Good News.  Numbers 6:24‭-‬26 “The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” ’ In Jesus’s name Amen!     Shalom 2U

Psalm 123. The LORD is rich in Mercy

Psalm 123:2- See! as the eyes of servants are turned to the hands of their masters, and the eyes of a servant-girl to her owner, so our eyes are waiting for the Lord our God, till he has mercy on us. 3 Have mercy on us, O Lord, have mercy on us: for all men are looking down on us. 4 For long enough have men of pride made sport of our soul.

It’s a history lesson that we have a hard time learning.   Just like the Israelites,  we time after time go astray from the LORD.   We think that we can make it on our own,  but we can’t.  We are made humble and cry out to the LORD for help.

Dear Jesus!   You try to tell us in Your Word that without You we can do nothing.   You wait patiently until You hear our cry.   In Your mercy,  You pick us up again.   Thank You Jesus for never leaving or forsaking us.   We pray for the fallen that they would cry out to You and receive Your Amazing Grace.    The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’s Name Amen.   II Corinthians 13:14.       Shalom 2U

Psalm 124. Only The LORD Can Protect Us

Psa 124:6- Blessed be the LORD, who has not given us as a prey to their teeth. 7 Our soul has escaped like a bird out of the fowler’s snare. The snare is broken, and we have escaped. 8 Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.

The Psalm tells us that if it wasn’t for the LORD,  we wouldn’t escape the fowler’s snares.   The devil is always trying to catch us in his traps.  The proud rely on their own abilities and resources.

Dear Jesus!    We rely on You and  Your great and precious promises for us.   You are our hiding place.  You are our Rock, Refuge, Savior, and Deliverer.   You are the One that saves and protects.  You are Lord, our Good Shepherd, who uses Your rod and staff to lead us, guide us, and protect us.  May Your Amazing Grace bring back the lost sheep into Your Kingdom.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’s name Amen.  II Corinthians 13:14.     Shalom 2U

Psalm 125 Trust In The LORD

Psalm 125:1-Those who trust in the LORD are as Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but remains forever. 2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people from this time forth and forevermore.

This Psalm talks about Jerusalem, Mount Zion.   We know that a Mount here is referring to a mountain.   It calls this particular mountain, Mount Zion.   The meaning of Zion means parched, dry.  I guess it is saying that Mount Zion is so hard that it cannot be moved, as unlike some mountains are inclined to have mudslides or some other disaster.

Dear Jesus!   You are our Rock!  You are the cornerstone of our faith.   We build up our faith in Your Words of truth.  In You,  we are like Mount Zion and won’t be moved.   You surround us with Your grace, favor, Shalom/ Peace,  love, protection and faithfulness.   We shall not be moved,  Glory be to God!   There are many building their lives on sinking sand.   We pray that they will come to You,  the Rock of Ages.       The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’s name Amen.   II Corinthians. Shalom 2U

Psalm 127 Let the Lord build your house

Psalm 127:1  Unless the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain who build it. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchman guards it in vain.

Mankind can come up with a lot of different kinds of projects.   Some are good while others are not.   Some are well meaning projects that are designed to help people and the Kingdom of God.   No matter how good our intentions are, ” Unless the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain “.  God can do exceedingly, abundantly more than we can ever think or imagine.   It’s important to seek Him first.

Dear Jesus!   You were immensely successful in all that You did.   You always sought the Father’s will.   You saw in the ” Word “, what He wants done and how He does it.   ( Jesus answered them, “Many good works I have shown you from My Father. For which of those works do you stone Me?” John 10:32 )  You completed all by Your sacrifice,  the work that the Father gave You.  At the end,  You said it is finished.   Now You want us to declare Your finished work, to declare that the Kingdom of God is here.   (  “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. John 14:12 )  We now declare that the Kingdom of God is here.   We command that the blind see, deaf hear, lame walk, unclean be made clean, and the captives be set free in Jesus’s name Amen!   Shalom 2U

Psalm 128 God Blesses those that Reverence Him

Psa 128:1-Everyone that is *in awe of the LORD will be very happy.  They will *walk in his ways. 2 You will eat the things that your hands have worked for.  You are very sure that you will. You will be happy!  Good things will happen to you! 3 Your wife in your house  will be like a vine that grows much fruit.  Your sons round your table  will be like branches of an olive tree.

Time after time, we see how God blesses those that reverence Him.  We all should be in awe of God.   When we look at His creation, especially mankind; we should be humbled and full of awe.

Dear Jesus!   We are in awe of You.   There is no greater love than God’s.  The Father gave us You and You gladly came to save and redeem us.   Just for doing that, we are in awe of You.  You didn’t stop there but ” in You ” we are blessed with all spiritual blessings. ( Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, Ephesians 1:3 )

Spiritual Blessings:  1. Blessed 2. Chosen 3. Predestined 4. Accepted 5. Redemption and forgiveness 6.Wisdom & understanding 7.Revelation 8. Established ” In Christ” 9. Inheritance. 10. Grace and favor 11. Sealed with the Holy Spirit

We are blessed, blessed, blessed!  Thank You for blessing us and our households.   Some have not yet surrendered to You.  We believe that they will because Your Word says that they will.   We now declare Your Word and give You praise and thanksgiving for not letting it return void.  Acts 16:31 So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.   2 Corinthians 13:14 grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’s name Amen.    Shalom 2U

Psalm 129 If it hadn’t been for the LORD

Psalm 129:1- My enemies have often hurt me since I was a child.  Israel can now say this. 2 They have often hurt me since I was a child,  but they have not beaten me.

This is so true about Israel.  They have been persecuted for thousands of years.   The day will come when they will bless Jerusalem and not persecute them.

Now everyone’s life is under persecution by the kingdom of darkness.   The devil never gives up.  He has a million ways to come against us.   That is why it’s so important to abide in the Lord.

Dear Jesus!   Those that believe in You know:  Psalms 124:2‭-‬3 “If it had not been the Lord who was on our side When men rose up against us, Then they would have swallowed us alive When their wrath was kindled against us. We thank You, Lord, for being in us and with us.  You are our Rock, Refuge, Savior, and Deliverer.  Believing in You, and trusting in You keeps us from being swallowed up by our enemies.   You came to save.  That’s what is in Your heart.  It’s in Your will.  We pray for those that haven’t received You yet.   We are saved by Your Amazing Grace,  not our works.     The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’s name Amen.  II Corinthians 13:14.       Shalom 2U

Psalm 130 Revere the LORD

Psa 130:1-Out of the depths I have cried to you, LORD. 2 Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my petitions. 3 If you, LORD, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand? 4 But there is forgiveness with you, so that you may be revered.

This translation is telling us to ” reverence ” the LORD, not fear Him.  When someone forgives us, we love them more.  We don’t like to be around people that are not forgiven.

Dear Jesus!  You have made the way that we can come boldly into the Throne of Grace.  You not only forgive our sins but cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  (  If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

I John 1:9  )  You took our sins and gave us Your righteousness.  We declare that we are righteous in You, all because of Your Amazing Grace.   We pray for the unrighteous to receive Your Amazing Grace.       The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’sname. Amen.  II Corinthians 13:14. Shalom 2U

Psalm 131. Be Humble & Receive

Psalm 131:1- LORD, my heart isn’t haughty, nor my eyes lofty; nor do I concern myself with great matters, or things too wonderful for me. 2 Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with his mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me. 3 Israel, hope in the LORD, from this time forth and forevermore.

Again we are reminded not to be proud and high minded.  We have to put God’s Word above everyone else’s words.   That being said,  we have to rightly divide God’s Word,  the Old Testament and the New Testament,  Grace and Law.   We see it in John 1:17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.   What God says about us when we believe in Jesus and receive His Grace, is different from who we are in the flesh.

Dear Jesus!  Psalms 139:14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.  These Words were declared long before You died for us.   In the beginning,  You had a great plan for us.  A plan so great that even the devil could not see or understand.  Had he known, he would not have crucified the Lord of glory.  (I Corinthians 2:7‭-‬9 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” )    Your ways are higher than our ways!  Only when we humble ourselves and meditate on Your Words can we receive and understand Your ways.  We pray that all would humble themselves and receive Your salvation for them.  The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’s name Amen.   II Corinthians 13:14. Psalm 132 Jesus built the Temple for God

Psalm 132:1-LORD, remember David and all his affliction, 2 how he swore to the LORD, and vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob: 3 “Surely I will not come into the structure of my house, nor go up into my bed; 4 I will not give sleep to my eyes, or slumber to my eyelids; 5 until I find out a place for the LORD, a dwelling for the Mighty One of Jacob.”

The Psalm begins with David proclaiming that he will not rest until he finds a dwelling place for the LORD.   Because David built the Tabernacle, he was blessed and the nation was blessed until they went after other God’s.

Dear Jesus!   You are far greater than King David.   You did exceedingly, abundantly more than what he did.  God didn’t want a building to dwell in.  God always wanted to dwell in us, like you are in the Father, and the Father is in You.  Your sacrifice made the way for us to dwell with You and the Father and the Holy Spirit. You prayed for this to happen: John 17:20‭-‬22. “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:

What a wonderful prayer that You prayed!  Now we are one in You and full of all Your heavenly blessings.   We now want to bless others to come to You and be one in the Body of Christ.   “The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” ’  In Jesus’s name Amen!    Numbers 6:24‭-‬26.    Shalom 2U

Psalm 133 One in Christ Jesus

Psalm 133:1-3  See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity. 2 It is like the precious oil on the head, that ran down on the beard, even Aaron’s beard; that came down on the edge of his robes; 3 like the dew of Hermon, that comes down on the hills of Zion: for there the LORD gives the blessing, even life forevermore.

Unity!  What a world we live in.   Since the beginning,  Satan has done everything that he could to divide people from God and one another.  Everyone has their own ideas of what is right and what is wrong.  In families, nations, and religions everyone is divided.

Dear Jesus!  You showed us how true unity works.   You are one with the Father and Holy Spirit and they are one with You.   The Holy Trinity is hard to understand for a lot of people.  It is really easy to understand when we see the unity You have with one another.

On the outside,  Your church is divided but in the Spirit, we are all one in You.   The Body of Christ is only one body.   You are the head of the body and we are different members in Your body.   Different only in the sense that we have different functions to perform.   All working together for Your honor and glory.   We pray that You would forgive us Lord,  when we walk in the flesh and dishonor Your body.   Help us Holy Spirit, our helper to walk after the Spirit and not the flesh.   May we always seek the Kingdom of God first.   Our Father who art in heaven,  hollow be thy name.  Thy Kingdom come, and Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.   We pray in Jesus’ name Amen!      Shalom 2U

Psalm 134. Servants of the LORD

Psalm 134:1- Look. Praise the LORD, all you servants of the LORD, who stand by night in the LORD’s house. 2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary. Praise the LORD. 3 May the LORD bless you from Zion; even he who made heaven and earth.

We are called servant’s,  when we serve the Lord.  Usually a servant can be looked down upon by their master and by others.  It’s not like that in the Kingdom of God.

Dear Jesus!   There is no greater honor than to serve You.  We are not like ordinary slaves that serve by force.  We are free will servant’s that gladly serve the King of the world.   Thank You for being a servant to the Father’s will.  You sacrificed Your life to save us and set us free.  When we serve You,  You and the Holy Spirit are actually working through us.   When we serve You,  there are heavenly and earthly rewards.   We long for the day, when You will say:Matthew 25:23 His Lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your Lord.’     We pray for more would come and serve You and be filled with the joy of the Lord.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’s name Amen.   II Corinthians 13:14 Shalom 2U

Psalm 135  God Prevails in us

Psalm 135:1-5 Praise the LORD. Praise the name of the LORD. Praise him, you servants of the LORD, 2 you who stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of our God’s house. 3 Praise the LORD, for the LORD is good. Sing praises to his name, for that is pleasant. 4 For the LORD has chosen Jacob for himself; Israel for his own possession. 5 For I know that the LORD is great, that our Lord is above all gods.

The Psalm begins with praising the LORD and then goes on about how God chose Jacob for Himself and Israel for His own possession.   Jacob is Israel and Israel is a person and a nation.   God likes to change names.  The name Jacob means ” supplanted “. Not a very nice name for a man of God.   God had to give him a new name,  so that he would represent God more effectively.   The name Israel means ” God prevails”.  So now Jacob no longer tries to get things the wrong way but puts his trust in God to do good for him.

Dear Jesus!   You came to change us.  There were so many things that we were trying to do,  but doing it the wrong way.  When we surrendered our lives to You,  You changed us into a New Creation and gave us a New Name.  We are no longer called Gentiles but Christians.   It’s no longer us trying to do the right thing,  but You prevailing in us.  We are not our own but Your possession.  (  knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. I Peter 1:18‭-‬19 )   We are now ” Christians ” .  Anointed Ones.   Anointed to declare Your Word, Your will to the Nations of the earth.   We declare Shalom/ Peace on earth and goodwill to all in Jesus’s name Amen!   Shalom 2U

Psalm 136 His loving kindness endures forever

Psalm 136:1-3  Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; for his loving kindness endures forever. 2 Give thanks to the God of gods; for his loving kindness endures forever. 3 Give thanks to the Lord of lords; for his loving kindness endures forever:

The main theme of this Psalm is : his loving kindness endures forever.   The Psalm goes on declaring all the majestic works of the LORD : made the heavens, stars, great lights,  brought Israel out of bondage, divided the sea, overthrew Pharaoh,  and so much more.

Dear Jesus!  You with the Father and the Holy Spirit performed many miraculous works.  It’s hard to believe how we take so much for granted.   You, by Your sacrifice, opened up the gates of heaven and enabled everyone who believes in You, unlimited grace and power to defeat the kingdom of darkness.   Everyday we praise You for defeating the darkness in our lives by setting us free with Your Amazing Grace and Marvelous Light.   Your loving kindness endures forever.   We now pray for those who need to experience Your Amazing Grace.     The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’s name Amen.  II Corinthians 13:14  Shalom 2U

Psa 136:1 KJV O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Mercy, Mercy, Mercy :  I love that word.  Justice is getting what we deserve but mercy is getting what we dont deserve.   This is what Jesus can to do for us.   Jesus is grace.   we receive His grace by faith.   we must know, believe, and declare by faith all that He has done through His sacrifice.   Mercy is one of those great and precious promises..

Dear Jesus !   we thank you for your good news.   Your word here tells us of your great mercy.   We thank you and praise you for your mercy that endures for ever.    Thankk you for your love and peace.   Amen

Psalm 137 Repent & call upon the Lord

Psalm 137:1- By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down. Yes, we wept, when we remembered Zion. 2 On the willows in its midst, we hung up our harps. 3 For there, those who led us captive asked us for songs. Those who tormented us demanded songs of joy: “Sing us one of the songs of Zion.”

The Israelites are now in captivity.   They had forgotten the LORD and thus were defeated by their enemies.   Now they are sorrowful and repentant.   They are remembering the goodness of the LORD.

Dear Jesus!   We can be easily led astray.   We are like sheep but Glory be to God; You are our Good Shepherd.   Many times we have fallen.   We cry out to You and You pick us up again.   Many times we took the wrong path but we heard Your voice and came back following You.  As the Psalm says: Your loving kindness endures forever.   We pray for all those who have gone astray to hear Your voice and come to You.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’s name. Amen.   II Corinthians 13:14. Shalom 2U

Psalm 138 The Word & the Name of Jesus

Psalm 138:1- A Psalm of David. I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee. 2 I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name. 3 In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.

When I look at the different translations,  there is some difference.   A lot of times words are put in the translation that are not there in the original Hebrew language.   The main thing is that God has magnified His Word and His Name above all other names.  Philippians 2:9

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name.    The Name of Jesus and the Word of God ( the sword of the Spirit) are given to us to defeat the Kingdom of darkness.

It’s all about crying out to the Lord for help and strength. We were never meant to be righteous in our own strength but righteous because of what Jesus has done for us. We receive righteousness by faith in Jesus. Know it, believe it, declare it and the Holy Spirit will quicken ( make it come alive in your life).

Dear Jesus. 0nly you can make me righteous. I tried many times to be righteous. I tried keeping your commandments but always failed. I ask you now to come into my heart and save me. I receive your righteousness by faith in you Jesus. Thank you for giving me peace and joy because of your sacrifice.  We now come against the kingdom of darkness and declare: Shalom/ Peace on earth and goodwill to all in  Jesus’s  name Amen!    Shalom 2U

Psa 138:3 KJV In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.

It’s all about crying out to the Lord for help and strength. We were never meant to be righteous in our own strength but righteous because of what Jesus has done for us. We receive righteousness by faith in Jesus. Know it, believe it, declare it and the Holy Spirit will quicken ( make it come alive in your life.
Dear Jesus. 0nly you can make me righteous. I tried many times to be righteous. I tried keeping your commandments but always failed. I ask you now to come into my heart and save me. Psalm 139 Lead me in the way everlasting

Psalm 139:1- O LORD, you examine me and know. 2 You know when I sit down and when I get up; even from far away you understand my motives. 3 You carefully observe me when I travel or when I lie down to rest; you are aware of everything I do. 4 Certainly my tongue does not frame a word without you, O LORD, being thoroughly aware of it.

This Psalm reveals how God knows all about us.  He knew everything about us before we were born.   There is no place that we can go that God does not know where we are.   When we think about how God created us,  we give Him praise.   ( v14   I will give you thanks because your deeds are awesome and amazing. You knew me thoroughly;  )

The Psalm ends with a plea to God. v24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

” lead me in the way of everlasting “

This is why we need Jesus. We are like sheep that can easily get lost and get into trouble. When we dwell with the ” Good Shepherd ” ; He leads us, guides us, protect and feeds us “

Dear Jesus! You are truly my Good Shepherd. I commit my life into your savings hands. Thank you for taking care of me like a Good Shepherd. Thank you for giving me love, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.  Thank You for leading us through the valley of death and into Your Kingdom of everlasting life.  We pray for those that need to be born again and put their faith in You.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all inJesus’sname Amen.    II Corinthians 13:14.      Shalom 2U

Psa 139:24 KJV And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

“Lead me in the way of everlasting “

Dear Jesus! Your are truly my Good Shepherd. I commit my life into your savings hands. Thank you for taking care of me like a Good Shepherd. Thank you for giving me love, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Amen!

Psalm 140   Speak those Great & Precious Promises

Psa 140:1  Deliver me, LORD, from the evil man. Preserve me from the violent man;

Many ask the LORD for His protection.  He wants to protect us but there are some conditions.

Psa 140:11- An evil speaker won’t be established in the earth. Evil will hunt the violent man to overthrow him. 12 I know that the LORD will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and justice for the needy. 13 Surely the righteous will give thanks to your name. The upright will dwell in your presence.

We see here one of the conditions.  When we speak evil, those words open up the door and let’s the kingdom of darkness in.  First let’s remember: Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.  Next let’s reflect on what God says is an evil report.   Remember when the spies came back from the “Promise Land “, they spoke an evil report.   What they said was true in the natural, but it was against what God said.  They opened up the door for defeat instead of victory.

Dear Jesus!   Your Words are Spirit and they are life.   You gave us many great and precious promises that through them, we could be partakers of the Divine Nature. ( 2 Peter 1:4)  Only when we guard our tongue and speak Your life given Words can we be overcomers.  In You, we move and breathe.  In You we have fullness of life.   We pray for those that need victory in their lives and come to You, the Savior of the world.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen. II Corinthians 13:14.  Shalom 2U

Psalm 141 Keep your eyes on Jesus

Psalm 141:1- LORD, I have called on you. Come to me quickly. Listen to my voice when I call to you. 2 Let my prayer be set before you like incense; the lifting up of my hands like the evening sacrifice. 3 Set a watch, LORD, before my mouth. Keep the door of my lips.   Note: This is a big problem for believers and non believers. We pray for something that God has already promised that He has done. Since we haven’t seen it come to pass in the natural,  we then keep speaking what we see instead of what God’s Word says.  We need to be like Abraham:  (as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did; who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, “So shall your descendants be.” Romans 4:17‭-‬18

Psalm 141:8- For my eyes are on you, LORD, the Lord. In you, I take refuge. Do not leave my soul destitute. 9 Keep me from the snare which they have laid for me, from the traps of evildoers.

Dear Jesus!   Our eyes are on You.   You are the author and finisher of our faith.   All the great and precious promises are about what You have done for us.   When we abide in You,  we speak Your Words instead of words of unbelief.  We are strong in You Jesus and the power of Your might.   We pray for those that keep speaking what they see.   May they abide in You and receive Your abundant Life.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’s  name Amen.  II Corinthians 13:14.  Shalom 2U

Psalm 142. LORD! You are my Refuge

Psalm 142:5-  I cried to you, LORD. I said, “You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.” 6 Listen to my cry, for I am in desperate need. Deliver me from my persecutors, for they are stronger than me. 7 Bring my soul out of prison, that I may give thanks to your name. The righteous will surround me, for you will be good to me.

The Psalmist was having all kinds of problems.   He didn’t rely on his own abilities and strength.  He sought the LORD.

Dear Jesus!   You are the Great “I AM “.  You are everything that we need.   As we seek and abide in You, we are in that secret place.   You are our fortress, our refuge, our hiding place.  Thank you for blessing our going out and coming in.  We pray that all would cry out to You so that You would be their refuge.       The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’s name Amen. II Corinthians 13:14.   Shalom 2U

Psalm 143. Rescue,  Teach, & Revive Me
Psalm 143:1 O LORD, hear my prayer! Pay attention to my plea for help! Because of your faithfulness and justice, answer me! v9-12  Rescue me from my enemies, O LORD! I run to you for protection. 10 Teach me to do what pleases you, for you are my God. May your kind presence lead me into a level land. 11 O LORD, for the sake of your reputation, revive me! Because of your justice, rescue me from trouble! 12 As a demonstration of your loyal love, destroy my enemies! Annihilate all who threaten my life, for I am your servant.

There seem to be enemies after us all the time.   That’s why we have to be awake and diligent in our daily walk with the Lord.  (I Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.)

Dear Jesus!   Now that we have received You as our Lord and Saviour,  we can call upon You to save us.  You have revived us and taught us that:Ephesians 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.   We are rescued by the power of Your Word, Your Spirit, and Your Name.   In the name of Jesus,  we come against the kingdom of darkness and declare: Shalom/ Peace on earth and goodwill to all.  The Kingdom of God is here.   We command that the captives be set free and come to the Kingdom of God.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’s name Amen. II Corinthians 13:14  Shalom 2U

Psalm 144. The LORD Blesses His People

Psalm 144:11- Rescue me, and deliver me out of the hands of foreigners, whose mouths speak deceit, whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood. 12 Then our sons will be like well-nurtured plants, our daughters like pillars carved to adorn a palace. 13 Our storehouses are full, filled with all kinds of provision. Our sheep bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our fields. 14 Our oxen will pull heavy loads. There is no breaking in, and no going away, and no outcry in our streets. 15 Blessed are the people who are in such a situation. Blessed are the people whose God is the LORD.

The last verse is most important because if God is not the LORD of our lives, none of the blessings will come upon us.   Making God, God and LORD, LORD is putting Him first place in our lives.   It’s about worshiping Him above all things.   Then God will bless us in body, soul, and spirit.  He cares all about us and our children.

Dear Jesus!   You are LORD!  The Lord is my Shepherd,  I shall not want.   Psalm 23 tells us about all the good things that You do for us,  because You are Lord.   We especially thank You for caring for our households,  our children.   Thank You for saving them and bringing them back to You.   We declare Your blessings on them now.  “The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.” ’ In Jesus’s name Amen!   Numbers 6:24‭-‬26.  Shalom 2U

Psalm 145  Continually Praise the LORD

Psalm 145:1- I will extol you, my God, O king! I will praise your name continually! 2 Every day I will praise you! I will praise your name continually! 3 The LORD is great and certainly worthy of praise! No one can fathom his greatness!  Note:  This is how God knows that we believe in Him.  We praise a lot of things in our lives that are far below our God.

v:14 The LORD supports all who fall, and lifts up all who are bent over.  Note:  God knows that we are weak and we will fall but as long as we are humble, He will raise us up again.

V:19 He satisfies the desire of his loyal followers; he hears their cry for help and delivers them.  Note: ” Loyal followers “, not just someone who gives Him praise once in a while.

Dear Jesus!  You are truly worthy of all praise, honor, and glory.  You did exceedingly, abundantly more than we can ever think or imagine.  All You ask is for us to truly believe in You.   We can’t count the number of times that we have fallen.  You gave us the faith to call upon Your name and You lift us up again.   What a glorious Savior!   We pray for those that have fallen that they would humble themselves and call upon Your Name.   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’s name Amen.     Shalom 2U

Psa 146:1-2 NET 1 Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD, O my soul! 2 I will praise the LORD as long as I live! I will sing praises to my God as long as I exist!

Psalm 146. God’s will be done

Psalm 146:1- Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD, O my soul! 2 I will praise the LORD as long as I live! I will sing praises to my God as long as I exist!

V:6-8  the one who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, who remains forever faithful, 7 vindicates the oppressed, and gives food to the hungry. The LORD releases the imprisoned. 8 The LORD gives sight to the blind. The LORD lifts up all who are bent over. The LORD loves the godly.

Dear Jesus!  We believe that this is the way that You lived Your life as the Son of man.  You were always praising the Father.  You were always meditating on the Word, being sensitive to the Holy Spirit.  You knew that the Father wanted to vindicate the oppressed,  feed the hungry, set the captives free,  give sight to the blind and lift up the lowly.   All throughout Your ministry,  You did these things.   Now You have commanded us to do the same.   We command that the blind see, deaf hear, lame walk, unclean be made clean, and the captives be set free in Jesus’s name.   The Kingdom of God is here!   The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’s name Amen.    II Corinthians 13:14  Shalom 2U

Psalm 147 All Blessings come from God

Psalm 147:1- Praise the LORD, for it is good to sing praises to our God! Yes, praise is pleasant and appropriate! 2 The LORD rebuilds Jerusalem, and gathers the exiles of Israel. 3 He heals the brokenhearted, and bandages their wounds. 4 He counts the number of the stars; he names all of them. 5 Our Lord is great and has awesome power; there is no limit to his wisdom.

The world has so many things to praise the Lord for,  but they often don’t.   They take for granted all the things that He does, but are disappointed that He doesn’t do more.  The LORD lifts up the oppressed.  V8: He covers the sky with clouds, provides the earth with rain, and causes grass to grow on the hillsides. V9 He gives food to the animals, and to the young ravens when they chirp.  V11 The LORD takes delight in his faithful followers, and in those who wait for his loyal love.

Dear Jesus!   We give You praise and thanksgiving for all that You have done for us.   There are many good things that You have done that we don’t even know about,  yet we give You praise.   We know that You saved us and have given us abundant life.  We were captives in the kingdom of darkness but You set us free and brought us into the Kingdom of Light.  We were blind but You gave us grace to see Your sacrifice on the cross.  We were deaf but You opened our ears to hear the Good News.  You have done so much for us,  but You haven’t stopped with us.  You are pouring out Your Amazing Grace on our families and friends.   We thank You Jesus for all Your blessings and We declare Your blessings now.  The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’s name Amen.  II Corinthians 13:14.  Shalom 2U

Psalm 148 Let everything that is, Praise the LORD

Psalm 148:1- Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD from the sky! Praise him in the heavens! 2 Praise him, all his angels! Praise him, all his heavenly assembly! 3 Praise him, O sun and moon! Praise him, all you shiny stars! 4 Praise him, O highest heaven, and you waters above the sky! 5 Let them praise the name of the LORD, for he gave the command and they came into existence.

The Psalm goes on and on about Praising the LORD.   Everything in the skies above,  on the earth, and under the sea, all that is, God brought it into existence by His Word.

Dear Jesus!   The world is full of Your Glory.  We that are ” in Christ ” are especially blessed.  You not only created us as human beings but we are a Born Again, New Creation made in Your image and likeness.  Glory be to God! As You are the King of kings and our Great High Priest,  we are a Royal Priesthood.  We are Kings and Priests anointed to replenish the earth.  The kingdom of darkness has been trying to destroy Your glorious works.   We will continue to fight against that false and defeated kingdom.  To all the earth, we declare Shalom/ Peace.  We declare “Light Be “! We declare:  The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus’s name Amen.  II Corinthians 13:14.   Shalom 2U
